This remarkable technology dramatically reduces the need for external energy by ingeniously reusing the secondary steam energy it generates. At its core, the technology involves an energy-efficient steam compressor that compresses secondary steam produced by the evaporator. This compression process transforms electrical energy into valuable thermal energy, increasing both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Once enhanced, the steam is reintroduced to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials and facilitates evaporation. Through this sophisticated recycling process, the latent heat of vaporization from secondary steam is efficiently reclaimed and utilized.
The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising a seamlessly integrated compressor body, coupling, gearbox, sophisticated lubrication system, powerful motor, and an advanced electric instrument and anti-surge control system. Its design emphasizes a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance while delivering superior performance and reliability.
3.3.1 Begin by carefully placing the compressor base integrally on the prepared foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims under the base to precisely adjust the unit level.
Alternately position two wedge-shaped irons to achieve desired leveling. Once level, secure the iron wedges by spot welding in 4 to 5 places.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user to suit the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surface is expertly finished for even contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg per square centimeter,ensuring durability and stability.
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain perfect levelness. The unit’s axial level must meet the standard of 0.05 per 1000mm,
while its horizontal level must adhere to 0.10 per 1000mm, assuring utmost accuracy.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with meticulous attention. Prior to alignment, confirm adherence to the following critical prerequisites:
1) Disengage the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unhindered access;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling’s intermediate segment;
4) Verify that the motor installation plane is flat, devoid of any debris or unwanted materials;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt size for easy loosening and precise motor adjustments;
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets on hand to fully support the motor’s base. Gaskets must be flat and free from contaminants;
7) A dial indicator or laser alignment tool with an accuracy of 0.01mm is indispensable (procured by the customer);
8) Prepare an appropriate bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement. Position the indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub’s outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The outer circle’s maximum deviation should not exceed 0.05mm,
while the coupling end face runout should be between 0.03 and 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft is slightly higher than the compressor’s low-speed shaft;11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the outer circle’s runout and the coupling end face’s accuracy;
12) After conducting a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling’s intermediate section to finalize setup.
3.3.4 Post alignment of the casing's levelness, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After a successful trial or mechanical operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure enduring stability.
3.3.5 As the impeller is a high-speed rotating element, preventing solid or liquid intrusion is essential to avoid irreversible compressor damage. Therefore, maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that align with system steam corrosion standards.Consider installing solid-liquid separation devices (such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees) prior to the compressor inlet to further safeguard operations.
3.3.6 When installing the compressor’s inlet and outlet pipes, adhere to the PI diagram for pipeline accessory integration. Support pipelines with independent brackets to relieve compressor body burden.
3.3.7 Upon successful installation of the main fan coupled with its ancillary equipment, and once the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, the compressor operation test is primed and ready to commence. This crucial phase marks the commencement of validating the entire system's performance and efficiency.
3.3.8 The compressor's electric control cabinet is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. This proximity ensures optimal operational efficiency. The wiring that connects the compressor to its electric control cabinet is meticulously guided through threading pipes, securely laid underground for protection and durability. Following the precise placement of the electric control cabinet, the wiring terminals within are seamlessly integrated with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a cohesive and robust control system.
