Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be securely positioned on the foundation. Place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to fine-tune the level of the unit.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is impeccably leveled, spot weld the shims at four to five points for optimal stability.
The wedge iron is crafted by the user to perfectly suit their unique requirements, ensuring the contact surface is finished for consistent contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40 Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Ensure precise leveling using a level gauge. The unit's leveling standards: axial level at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Prior to alignment, verify the following essential prerequisites:
1) Safely turn off the main power supply.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield.
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling.
4) Examine the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it is free of debris and unwanted materials.
5) The motor's bolt holes should exceed the bolt size to allow bolt loosening for motor adjustments.
6) Have a sufficient supply of flat, stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor's footing, ensuring no irregularities or dirt. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Use a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (provided by the customer).
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the figure below.

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge for exact alignment.
10) Align the compressor and motor center lines by adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, keeping the maximum outer circle deviation within 0.05mm. The motor shaft should be above the compressor's low-speed shaft line, with coupling end face deviation at 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Firmly tighten the motor foot bolts and recheck the runouts of the outer circle and coupling end face to ensure precision.
12) After a successful motor idling test, reattach the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing is accurately leveled and aligned, solidify it with anchor bolts. Post-operation or trial, loosen and retighten bolts for durability.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed component, must be protected from solid or liquid intrusion to prevent damage. Ensure the connected pipelines are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines require prompt rectification. It's recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet.

3.3.6 Precisely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram for fitting related pipeline accessories. Support the connected pipeline with an independent bracket, keeping its weight off the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its associated equipment, and once the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you are ready to proceed with the exhilarating compressor operation test. This marks a pivotal moment in the setup, ensuring that everything is perfectly aligned and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 The elegant and efficient electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically placed within a sleek 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For seamless connectivity, the wiring journey from the compressor to the control cabinet should be elegantly executed through an underground threading pipe. Once the electric control cabinet is securely stationed, expertly connect the wiring terminals to the remote DCS, ensuring flawless communication and control for your system.
