At the heart of this innovative approach lies a fundamental principle: the secondary steam emanating from the evaporator is compressed by a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As a result, the warmed secondary steam returns to the evaporator, effectively heating the materials and inducing further evaporation. Through this remarkable cycle, the latent heat of vaporization of secondary steam is artfully recycled, paving the way for significant energy conservation.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a sophisticated apparatus, meticulously engineered to include a compressor body composed of key components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it is equipped with a coupling, motor, and electric instrument, combining to deliver unparalleled performance and efficiency.
3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base integrally onto the designated foundation. Under the base, position wedge-shaped shims for precise unit leveling adjustments.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld these wedges at 4 to 5 points for stability.
The user must manufacture and install the wedges, tailored to the specific situation. Ensure the contact surfaces are finished so they provide uniform contact with the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to ascertain the unit's alignment. The axial alignment standard is an accuracy of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal alignment must meet 0.10/1000mm.
Maintain these exacting standards for optimal performance.
3.3.3 For coupling centering, follow these preparatory steps before alignment:
1) Ensure the main power supply is turned off to avoid any accident;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for better accessibility;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate alignment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is clean and devoid of debris, dirt, or any unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt size to allow easy loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Have a supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to cover the motor's foot. The gaskets must be flat and free of attachments. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Use either a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying diagrams;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for affixing a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe at the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Through the adjustment of bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to be nearly congruent. The maximum outer circle deviation should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Ensure coupling end face deviation remains between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once alignment is achieved, securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess both the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section after a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-alignment, tighten the anchor bolts after adjusting the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing. After mechanical operations or test runs, loosen and retighten these bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, must be protected from solid or liquid ingress to prevent irreversible compressor damage. Ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be corrected. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with the necessary pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines must be supported by separate brackets and not rely on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its supportive equipment is complete, and the concrete has fully cured, it's time to embark on the compressor operation test. This pivotal phase ensures that the system functions seamlessly and is ready to deliver optimal performance.
3.3.8 Position the compressor's electric control cabinet strategically within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To maintain efficient and organized connectivity, use threading pipes to route the wiring underground from the compressor to the control cabinet. After securing the control cabinet, ensure a precise connection of the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating smooth and effective communication with the system.
