3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base on the foundation, utilizing wedge-shaped shims to delicately adjust the unit's level. These shims are crucial for achieving perfect balance.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons to ensure optimal stability. Once alignment is achieved, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4~5 strategic points.
The user should custom-manufacture and install the wedge according to precise conditions, ensuring a seamless contact on the inclined surface.
Remember, the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain precision. The unit's leveling requirements are as follows: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
This meticulous leveling ensures optimal performance and durability.
3.3.3 Flawlessly center the coupling. Prior to engaging in alignment, ensure these essential prerequisites are met:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off for safety.
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness to ensure it is devoid of any unwanted debris or impurities.
5) The motor bolt hole should provide ample space, larger than the bolt itself, to allow for nuanced adjustments.
6) Prepare sufficient stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be perfectly flat and free of any contaminants.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which must be sourced by the customer.
8) Secure a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for precise dial indicator placement, ensuring the probe rests on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Carefully adjust bolts around the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines within a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm.
11) Firmly secure motor foot bolts, then review and verify the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for optimal synchronization.;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section with precision.
3.3.4 Upon achieving perfect 'levelness' and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical operation test, loosen and retighten them to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a rapidly rotating component, demands cleanliness. Any intruding solids or liquids can cause irreversible damage. Ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and meet the steam corrosion grade specifications.It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Expertly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. All connected pipelines must incorporate suitable accessories as per the PI diagram, and must be supported independently to avoid burdening the compressor body.
3.3.7 Following the meticulous installation of the main fan and its associated ancillary equipment, and once the concrete foundation has reached full solidification, it becomes the opportune moment to embark on a comprehensive compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures that every component functions harmoniously, paving the way for optimal performance.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5m radius of the compressor itself. Ensure that the wiring journey from the compressor is facilitated by threading pipe, seamlessly routed underground for protection and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, proceed to expertly connect the wiring terminals within to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS). This connection ensures precise synchronization and control, reinforcing the integrity of the system's operation.
