3.3.1 The compressor base must be carefully and integrally placed on a solid foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adjust the unit's level to perfection.
Alternately place two wedge-shaped irons, and after the unit is perfectly leveled, securely spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedge should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is meticulously finished, ensuring even contact of the inclined
plane. Note, the wedge iron should not bear a load greater than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precise level to determine the exact leveling. The unit's leveling demands are exacting: the axial level precision is 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level precision of the unit is 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with utmost accuracy. Before beginning alignment, ensure the fulfillment of these key requirements:
1) Shut off the primary power supply immediately;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane meticulously to guarantee it is free from debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are generously larger than the bolts, enabling loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Prepare a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets to securely cover the motor's foot. The gaskets must remain attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using slender, elongated gaskets for adjustments between the motor and its base;
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, which should be prepared by the customer;
8) Ready the bracket designed to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Fit the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator on the hub's edge and position the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Meticulously adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor's center lines accurately. The outer circle deviation should not exceed 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face measurements between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Firmly tighten the motor foot bolts and conduct a thorough review of the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for precision.;
12) After completing the motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section securely.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, ensure anchor bolts are tightened. After mechanical operation, or trial runs, it's critical to loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller spins at high speed, and any intrusion of solids or liquids can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Thus, it's imperative that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are impeccably clean and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Any pipeline falling short of these standards must be rectified. It's highlyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are equipped with the necessary accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines interfacing with the compressor need to be independently supported by another bracket, not relying on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its supporting equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has fully cured, the stage is set for initiating the compressor's operational test. 3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor is strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Connection from the compressor to the cabinet is expertly managed through underground threading pipes. Upon securing the cabinet in its designated location, it is imperative to ensure that all wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet are precisely connected to the remote DCS lines, guaranteeing flawless communication and control.
