3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base upon its foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims placed beneath the base to meticulously adjust and perfect the unit's leveling.
Methodically alternate between two wedge-shaped irons for optimal stability. Once level, ensure to spot weld the wedges securely at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges should be
crafted and fitted by the user, tailored precisely to the specific installation environment. The contact surfaces must be meticulously finished to assure even contact across inclined
planes, maintaining a bearing capacity of no more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 With precision, employ a level to verify the unit's balance. The requirements for leveling are as follows: Axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level must not exceed 0.10/1000mm, ensuring flawless operational efficiency.
3.3.3 Proceed to center the coupling. Ensure all preparatory steps are in place before commencing alignment:
1) First, ensure safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield with precision;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section methodically;
4) Assess and confirm the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free of debris, dust, or any attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt to allow for easy adjustment;
6) Adequately prepare stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot, ensuring they are pristine and flat. Avoid using long, narrow gaskets between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with pinpoint accuracy of 0.01mm (to be sourced by the customer);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the figure below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for placing a dial indicator at the hub's edge, ensuring precision alignment on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center line. The maximum deviation of the outer circle should be within 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviation should remain between 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Securely fasten the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for assurance.;
12) Carefully reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Following adjustments in 'levelness' and alignment, diligently tighten the anchor bolts. Post-mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten bolts for assured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed, dynamic component; any ingress of solid or liquid can inflict irreversible damage to the compressor. It is paramount to ensure the cleanliness and steam corrosion compliance of the inlet and outlet pipelines. Pipelines not meeting these standards must undergo rectification. For enhanced system integrity, it is strongly recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Carefully mount the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure pipelines are fitted with relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. Support the pipelines with separate brackets, preventing any undue weight from bearing on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon the completion of the installation of the main fan and its ancillary components, and after the concrete has fully solidified, embark on the compressor operation test. This pivotal phase ensures that all systems are seamlessly synchronized and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For optimal efficiency and safety, position the electric control cabinet within a strategic 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure that the wiring from the compressor to this cabinet is meticulously encased in a threading pipe, securely routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly situated, expertly connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing a robust and reliable communication link.
