Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The foundational placement of the compressor base is crafted with precision. Position the compressor base integrally on the foundation and utilize wedge-shaped shims to meticulously adjust the unit to a perfect level.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons for enhanced stability. Once the unit is impeccably leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4-5 strategic points. These wedges should be
manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the unique demands of the situation. Ensure that the contact surface is flawlessly finished, promoting an even contact of the inclined
plane, with a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain precision. The unit's leveling requirements are exacting: The axial level must achieve 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level demands a fine precision of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve centered coupling alignment. Prior to embarking on alignment, confirm these imperative prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is securely turned off;
2) Dismantle the protective coupling shield;
3) Remove the intermediary section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is flawlessly flat, devoid of any debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole must exceed the bolt size, allowing flexibility to loosen the bolt for motor adjustment;
6) Prepare a generous supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These gaskets must be pristine, flat, and free from any attachments. Avoid the use of long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Have ready the bracket designed to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;

9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to mount a dial indicator precisely on the wheel hub edge, placing a probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum deviation of the outer circle must be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Ensure the coupling end face deviation is between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout,;
12) After the motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are precisely adjusted, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical or trial operation, release and retighten the bolts for steadfast security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, must remain uncontaminated by solid or liquid intrusions to prevent irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are immaculate and conform to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines falling short of these standards must undergo rectification. It is strongly
recommended to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. The import and export pipelines must feature the necessary pipeline accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. Ensure the pipelines connected to the compressor are supported by an independent bracket, as their weight must not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment is complete, and the concrete has reached full solidity, you can proceed with the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test. This critical step ensures everything is in perfect working order, paving the way for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless operation, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically installed within 5 meters of the compressor itself. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be meticulously executed using threading pipe, which is recommended to be placed underground for enhanced safety and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is in position, ensure to connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a cohesive and efficient system.
