MVR, an acronym for mechanical vapor recompression, is a cutting-edge energy-saving technology that innovatively reduces external energy dependencies. By intelligently reutilizing the secondary steam energy it generates, this system efficiently optimizes resource usage. The core principle revolves around the secondary steam produced by the evaporator, which is compressed with a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process adeptly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, enhancing the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The resultant temperature increase allows the steam to return to the evaporator, heating materials and generating evaporation, thus ingeniously recycling the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is an engineering marvel, meticulously designed to include a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electronic instrumentation, and an anti-surge control system. With its compact structure, this compressor not only ensures space efficiency but also promises convenience in maintenance, ensuring optimal functionality and longevity.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base as a single unit on the designated foundation. Carefully position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a perfectly level installation.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately, ensuring the unit is level. Securely spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 points. These wedges should be
custom-manufactured and installed by the user to fit the unique site conditions, ensuring an evenly distributed contact surface (smooth contact on inclined
planes). Note that the load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40 Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to ensure accuracy. The unit's leveling criteria are: axial level at 0.05/1000mm and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm.
The above requirements are crucial for optimal performance.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following conditions are met:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Remove the protective coupling shield for access.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Inspect the motor's installation plane to confirm it is free of debris, dirt, and any attachments.
5) The motor bolt hole must be sufficiently larger than the bolt to allow for adjustment.
6) Equip yourself with stainless steel gaskets to secure the motor footing. Ensure gaskets are free of attachments and lie perfectly flat. Avoid using thin, elongated gaskets for adjustments.
7) Deploy a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool with precise accuracy of 0.01mm, provided by the customer.
8) Prepare a supporting bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated below.

9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is designed for attaching a dial indicator around the wheel hub's perimeter, positioning the probe on the compressor's outer wheel hub edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines, following specific instructions. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft. Limits: outer circle deviation 0.05mm, coupling face 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Conclude with tightening the motor foot bolts and reassessing the coupling's outer circle and end face runout.;
12) After completing a motor idling test, reattach the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, secure the anchor bolts. Post mechanical or trial operation, loosen and re-tighten these bolts for added security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating element, is sensitive to any foreign solids or liquids, which can inflict irreversible damage. Ensure that the associated inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine, conforming to the steam corrosion resistance grade of the system. Should any pipeline fall short of the criteria, immediate rectification is mandatory. Consider
installing solid-liquid separation systems, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, prior to the compressor inlet's straight pipe for heightened safety.
3.3.6 Set up the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure import and export pipelines feature appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. Any pipeline linked to the compressor must have separate support and should not impose its weight on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan and its support systems have been seamlessly installed, and the concrete has fully cured, you can proceed with the compressor operation test. This ensures that all components are perfectly aligned and ready for optimal performance, paving the way for efficient operation.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Secure connection of the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet is essential and should be done through an underground threading pipe for safety and durability. Following the precise installation of the electric control cabinet, ensure the wiring terminals inside are effectively linked with the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust and reliable control system.
