Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base seamlessly upon the foundation, with precision placement of wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to facilitate impeccable leveling of the unit.
Strategically alternate two wedge-shaped irons, achieving optimal alignment, then secure the irons with spot welds at 4-5 key points. Remember, these shims should be
tailored and installed by the user, considering specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surface is meticulously finished, guaranteeing uniform contact of the inclined
plane. Note, the load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to attain unparalleled precision. The unit's leveling parameters demand that the axial alignment achieves 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
plane maintains a standard of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Initiate coupling alignment by meeting these essential prerequisites:
1) Disengage the main power source entirely;
2) Gently detach the coupling shield;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation surface's flatness, ensuring it is free from any foreign materials, dirt, or other attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes should exceed the bolt size to allow for thoughtful motor adjustments;
6) Ample stainless steel gaskets should be prepared to level the motor's foundation. Ensure gaskets are attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid inserting narrow gaskets between motor and base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm (provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a stable bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;

9) Equip the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adjusting the bolts strategically around the motor feet, achieve alignment so that the compressor and motor center lines are perfectly aligned. Maximum allowable deviation is 0.05mm for the outer circle, ensuring the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation maintained between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts, thoroughly inspecting both outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-alignment of levelness and casing alignment, firmly secure anchor bolts. After operational or trial runs, it is advisable to retighten these bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 Recognizing the impeller's role as a high-speed component, any solid or liquid intrusion could result in irreversible compressor damage. Therefore, maintaining cleanliness and adherence to the steam corrosion grade requirements in connected inlet and outlet pipelines is imperative. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo necessary modifications. It is highly
recommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the compressor inlet's straight pipe for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes in accordance with the PI diagram. Ensure that all associated pipeline accessories are appropriately secured. Pipelines should be supported by an independent bracket instead of the compressor body to prevent undue stress.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment have been impeccably installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, the moment has arrived to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that all components are harmoniously working together, effectively preparing the system for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless operation and enhanced safety, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensuring a clean and efficient setup, it's vital that the wiring from the compressor to this cabinet be securely connected using a threading pipe, which elegantly and safely runs underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, it's essential to meticulously connect the wiring terminals inside the cabinet with the lines leading to the remote DCS, guaranteeing smooth and reliable communication.
