The fundamental principle involves compressing the secondary steam, which is produced by the evaporator. High energy efficiency steam compressors are employed to transform electrical energy into thermal energy, effectively elevating the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This increased temperature and pressure enable the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it heats the materials, triggering evaporation. This process ingeniously recycles the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, embodying a sustainable approach to energy efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a pinnacle of engineering, designed with a streamlined and compact structure. It primarily consists of the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and anti-surge control system. Installation Instructions

3.3.1 To ensure optimal performance and stability, place the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adjust and level the unit flawlessly.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once perfectly leveled, reinforce the positioning by spot welding the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Remember, these wedges should be
custom-crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual environment. The contact surface must be finished, ensuring even contact with the inclined
plane. Note, the wedge iron's load-bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to guarantee perfect leveling. The unit's axial level should be within 0.05/1000mm, while the overall horizontal level must adhere to 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these measurements are meticulously maintained for superior functionality.

3.3.3 Achieve perfect alignment with the coupling centered. Before commencing the alignment process, ensure these essential preparations:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for clear access;
4) Meticulously check the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris, dirt, and any attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor's bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt size for easy loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to adequately support the motor's feet. These gaskets should be pristine and flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a secure bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach the dial indicator to the wheel hub, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines precisely. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft. The coupling's end face deviation should be between 0.03-0.05mm.

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then review the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision.;
12) After conducting a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section for finalization.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts securely. Post-mechanical operation or trial, loosen the bolts and retighten to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds, making it crucial to prevent any solid or liquid ingress, which could cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure that inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Any discrepancies must be addressed.
Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 When installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes, adhere strictly to the PI diagram for relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure the pipelines are supported by separate brackets to avoid imposing weight on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has fully cured to provide a solid foundation, the eagerly anticipated compressor operation test can commence, ensuring peak performance and reliability of our system.
3.3.8 To optimize the functionality and safety of the compressor, the electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within a convenient 5m radius of the compressor. The ensuing wiring connection from the compressor to this control hub should be meticulously executed via threading pipe that discreetly runs underground. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly stationed, ensure seamless connectivity by linking the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating an integrated and efficient operation.
