3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base seamlessly onto the designated foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims strategically positioned beneath the base to ensure precise leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of these wedge-shaped irons meticulously. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure them with a robust spot weld at 4 to 5 critical points, ensuring stability and endurance.
The fabrication and installation of these wedges should be tailored by the user based on the specific circumstances, ensuring a flawlessly finished contact surface for maximum efficiency.
Make sure the inclined plane is evenly contacted, keeping in mind that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed an impressive 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to ascertain the unit's precision alignment. The exacting leveling standards demand a unit axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
Achieving these standards ensures optimal operational efficiency and reliability of the system.
3.3.3 Finesse the coupling to achieve impeccable centering. Before embarking on this alignment, ensure these prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety.
2) Dismantle the coupling shield to expose the necessary components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section, preparing the area for alignment.
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it's free from contaminants and obstructions.
5) Verify that the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts to permit easy loosening during motor adjustments.
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets to stabilize the motor's footing. Ensure their impeccable condition devoid of debris, avoiding thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Implement precision tools such as a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, sourced by the customer.
8) Arrange a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying schematic.
9) Utilize the motor hub mounting bracket for affixing a dial indicator at the hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's periphery.
10) By fine-tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line.
11) Conclude by fastening the motor foot bolts securely, reviewing both the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Following a successful motor idle test, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, rigorously tighten the anchor bolts. Conduct a subsequent inspection post-mechanical operation, releasing and re-tightening the bolts to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-velocity rotating element, demands a pristine operational environment. Protect it from solid or liquid infiltration that could result in severe, irreversible damage.Confirm that the connecting inlet and outlet pipelines adhere to strict cleanliness and the requisite steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification. It's advisable to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are equipped with pertinent accessories as delineated in the PI diagram. Use a separate bracket to support the pipeline connected to the compressor, as its weight must not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the primary fan along with its supplementary equipment is meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, it paves the way for the commencement of the compressor operation test. This ensures a seamless and efficient testing phase, emphasizing both reliability and precision.
3.3.8 The installation of the compressor's electric control cabinet is paramount and must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For optimal performance and safety, the wiring linking the compressor to this cabinet should be securely housed within threading pipes that are placed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is properly situated, it is crucial to connect the terminal wires in the cabinet meticulously with the circuits at the remote DCS, ensuring flawless communication and control.
