The rotor is expertly supported by an oil film bearing, enabling direct drive through the high-speed motor. This cutting-edge design eliminates the need for a speed-increasing gearbox and coupling, resulting in enhanced operational efficiency and reliability, underscoring its prowess in advanced industrial applications.
3.3.1 For optimal performance, carefully position the compressor base directly on the foundation. Enhance stability by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, expertly used to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring meticulous leveling of the unit. Secure the arrangement by spot welding the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points.
Users must fabricate and install the wedges tailored to specific conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are finely finished for seamless engagement of the inclined plane.
The wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm², ensuring safety and optimal support.2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level tool to achieve impeccable leveling. The unit's axial level precision should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level precision must be maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Attain perfect coupling alignment by adhering to these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely switched off.
2) Carefully dismantle the coupling shield for easy access.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section meticulously.
4) Verify the motor installation surface is impeccably flat and free of debris or attachments.
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts to facilitate easy adjustment of the motor position.
6) Prepare an adequate number of stainless steel gaskets for motor footing. Ensure they are flat, clean, and intact – avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or a state-of-the-art laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, as provided by the customer.
8) Set up a robust bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator onto the hub's rim, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts at the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines precisely. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face deviation should range between 0.03 and 0.05mm.
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts. Reassess and confirm the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for absolute accuracy.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section with utmost precision.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are precisely adjusted, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation or trial run phase, release and re-tighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 Guard the high-speed rotating impeller from potential harm by preventing any solid or liquid intrusion. Confirm that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are rigorously clean and comply with the system's steam corrosion grade specifications. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. It is advisable to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all import and export pipelines are fitted with the appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. The supporting structure for the pipelines should be independent, not relying on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Upon the successful installation of the main fan and ancillary equipment, along with the complete solidification of the concrete, initiate the compressor operation test to verify seamless functionality.
