3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally and securely positioned on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve an impeccable unit level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once leveled, ensure stability by spot welding the irons at 4~5 strategic points. The wedges must be
crafted and placed by the user, tailored to the actual setup, ensuring a pristine contact surface for even engagement
on the inclined plane. Note, the wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain true levelness. The leveling standards are stringent: the axial level should not deviate more than 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal
level must be within 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 The coupling must be perfectly centered. Prior to alignment commencement, ensure the following steps:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield safely;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Verify the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, free from foreign materials, grime, and unwanted residues;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts to allow adjustment by loosening;
6) Have an ample supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage, devoid of any impurities. Avoid inserting long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment tool with an accuracy of 0.01mm, self-provided by the user;
8) Prepare a suitable bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for positioning a dial indicator on the hub's edge, with the probe adjacent to the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet meticulously to align the compressor and motor center lines perfectly (or follow specific instructions), ensuring the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm (with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated relative to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), pertaining to the coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts tightly and review the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts for precision;;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test to ensure optimal operational readiness.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are exact, anchor bolts should be tightened. Following mechanical operation or trial runs, bolts should be loosened and retightened for guaranteed stability.
3.3.5 Given the impeller's high-speed rotation, even minute solid or liquid intrusions can lead to irreversible compressor damage. Thus, it is paramount to maintain cleanliness and meet the system’s stringent steam corrosion grade requirements for pipelines linked to the compressor. Ill-suited pipelines must be promptly rectified. It is stronglyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to prevent contamination.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are fitted with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines connected to the compressor should be supported by separate brackets, ensuring that their weight does not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 After the impressive main fan and its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation is thoroughly solidified, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor. The wiring that connects the compressor to the electric control cabinet must be routed via a threading pipe laid underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely installed, ensure the wiring terminals inside the cabinet are meticulously connected with the lines at the remote DCS, guaranteeing flawless operation.
