MVR, or mechanical vapor recompression, is an innovative and energy-efficient technology specifically designed to drastically reduce the need for external energy. It achieves this by ingeniously reutilizing the energy contained in secondary steam, which is produced during the evaporation process. The core principle involves compressing this secondary steam using our high energy efficiency steam compressor, which superbly converts electrical energy into thermal energy. This process elevates the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, which is then cycled back to the evaporator. As a result, it effectively heats the materials, promoting further evaporation and enabling the continuous recycling of the latent heat of vaporization present in the secondary steam.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a state-of-the-art piece of equipment, meticulously crafted and composed of several key components. These include the compressor body, which consists of a volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it features a coupling, motor, and sophisticated electric instruments, all working in harmony to deliver outstanding performance and reliability.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the installation process by positioning the compressor base as a single unit on its foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure the unit is perfectly level.
Make sure to alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons and, once leveling is complete, proceed to spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points for stability. The wedge should be
custom-made and installed by the user based on specific conditions, guaranteeing a refined contact surface that ensures even pressure distribution on the inclined plane.
Remember, the load capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40 Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Precision is key in this process! Utilize a level tool to find the exact level. Required precision for the unit is: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
These are essential specifications to maintain optimal performance.

3.3.3 Achieving perfect coupling alignment is crucial. Before initiating alignment procedures, ensure to:
1) Disconnect the main power source to guarantee safety.
2) Remove the protective coupling shield carefully.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Check that the motor installation plane is smooth and devoid of debris, dirt, and any foreign attachments.
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolt size, allowing for adjustments by loosening bolts.
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to securely cover the motor's foot, ensuring they are clean, flat, and without attachments. Avoid using thin gaskets that could slip between the motor and base.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter of 0.01mm precision (procured by the customer).
8) Ready the supporting bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to fix a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with its probe positioned on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines as per guidelines, ensuring that the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft.

11) Post-alignment, tighten the motor foot bolts firmly, and double-check the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for accuracy.;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling intermediate section, following an idle run test of the motor.
3.3.4 Once the unit's level and alignment are satisfactorily adjusted, secure the anchor bolts tightly. Post mechanical or trial operation, retighten them for assurance.
3.3.5 The impeller's high-speed rotation demands absolute cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines to prevent any solid or liquid from causing irreversible damage. Ensure these connections comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for additional protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes, ensuring adherence to the PI diagram for pipeline accessory placement. Support these pipelines with separate structures, ensuring their weight is not borne by the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Following the complete installation of the main fan and all its ancillary equipment, and once the concrete base has reached full solidity, the stage is perfectly set to conduct a comprehensive operational test of the compressor. This marks a pivotal moment in ensuring that every component is functioning harmoniously, ready to deliver optimal performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor to ensure seamless connectivity. The wiring should be meticulously connected using threading pipes, which need to be securely routed underground for maximum protection and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly in place, proceed to meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless integration that guarantees superior operational control and monitoring.
