Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by securely positioning the compressor base on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims underneath the base, which are essential for ensuring the unit’s precise leveling.
Alternate the placement of these wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is meticulously leveled, proceed to spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points for stability.
These wedges should be crafted and installed by the user based on the specific conditions, ensuring that the contact surface is perfectly finished for uniform contact across the inclined plane.

3.3.2 Use a precision level to ensure the unit is perfectly balanced. The unit's axial level must not exceed 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should remain within 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Precise coupling alignment is paramount. Prior to alignment, ensure the following protocols are meticulously followed:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure complete safety;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield, ensuring no damage;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section, readying the equipment for alignment;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane, removing any foreign objects, dirt, or remnants;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the size of the bolts to allow for fine adjustments by loosening the bolts;
6) Assemble a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets to securely support the motor's feet. These gaskets must be pristine and uniformly flat, avoiding the use of any long, slender gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision, which the customer should prepare;
8) Prepare the indicated support bracket for optimal dial indicator positioning, as demonstrated in the illustration below;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to strategically position a dial indicator at the wheel hub’s edge, aligning the probe with the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adjusting the specific bolts around the motor's feet, align the compressor and motor center lines closely (or follow provided guidelines), ensuring the maximum deviation of the outer circle is restricted to 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with the coupling end face maintaining a deviation between 0.03 to 0.05mm;

11) Once alignment is confirmed, securely fasten the motor foot bolts and double-check the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for precision.;
12) After successfully conducting the motor's idling test, install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's alignment and levelness are adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts. Post any mechanical operation or trial, remember to loosen and retighten the bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed component, must remain free from any solid or liquid intrusions to avoid severe damage. It's crucial that all inlet and outlet pipelines are thoroughly cleaned and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade specifications. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification, with a recommendation to install solid-liquid separation devices, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, at the compressor inlet's straight pipe section for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all pipelines are equipped with the necessary accessories per the PI diagram. The pipes connected to the compressor should be independently supported, not burdening the compressor body with their weight.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all associated equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has fully set, you’re all set to initiate the compressor operation test.
