MVR, standing for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is an innovative energy-saving technology designed to significantly cut down the need for external energy sources. It achieves this by harnessing and reutilizing the energy from the secondary steam it produces. The fundamental principle involves the secondary steam, which is generated by the evaporator, being efficiently compressed using a high-energy efficiency steam compressor. This process efficiently transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, leading to a rise in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This heated steam is then redirected back to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials, thus inducing further evaporation. This ingenious approach allows for the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, showcasing a sophisticated method of energy conservation.
The DM series single-stage geared steam compressor is meticulously engineered, comprising several key components. These include the robust compressor body, sturdy coupling, efficient gearbox, advanced lubrication system, dependable motor, precise electric instrument, and a sophisticated anti-surge control system. The design is renowned for its compact structure, offering exceptional ease of maintenance, making it a reliable choice for various industrial applications.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the meticulous installation by placing the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for adjusting the unit's level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating manner. Ensure the unit is perfectly leveled, followed by spot welding the wedge-shaped irons at 4~5 strategic points. The wedge should be
custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to the actual situation. Ensure the contact surface is finished for even inclined plane contact,
and the wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to achieve perfect leveling. The unit's leveling precision: the axial level is 0.05/1000mm, and the horizontal level is 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these high standards are met for optimal performance.

3.3.3 Precise coupling centering is crucial. Prior to alignment, confirm the following essential safety and setup requirements:
1) Securely turn off the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for unobstructed access.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision.
4) Verify the flatness of the motor installation plane. Ensure it's free from debris, dirt, and any unwanted attachments.
5) The motor bolt hole must be larger than the bolt size, allowing for looseness to adjust the motor efficiently.
6) Prepare an ample quantity of stainless steel gaskets for the motor's foot, ensuring they are flat and attachment-free. Avoid using elongated and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize either a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precise accuracy of 0.01mm (provided by the customer).
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket as illustrated below to support the dial indicator.

9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is designed for placing a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring accurate placement of the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By finely tuning the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the center lines of both the compressor and motor. The maximum deviation of the outer circle should be 0.05mm (the motor shaft center line should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), and the coupling end face should ideally fall within 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Upon completion, securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Re-evaluate the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling to ensure precision alignment.;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling intermediate section after conducting a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After the mechanical operation, remember to re-loosen and re-tighten the bolts for steadfast security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating marvel, demands protection from solid or liquid intrusion which can cause irreversible compressor damage. Ensure clean inlet and outlet pipelines adhering to the system's steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. It's highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for added protection.

3.3.6 Precisely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Import and export pipelines should feature appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. Moreover, ensure that the pipelines connecting to the compressor are supported independently by another bracket, not the compressor body itself, to prevent undue strain.
3.3.7 Once the majestic main fan and its essential ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed, and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, it is time to embark on the compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures that all components are harmoniously synchronized and ready for optimum performance.
3.3.8 For the seamless integration and efficient operation of the compressor, it is imperative that the state-of-the-art electric control cabinet be strategically positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. The sophisticated wiring should be expertly connected using threading pipes that are discreetly routed underground, ensuring a clean and organized setup. Once the control cabinet is perfectly in place, establish a seamless connection between the wiring terminals in the cabinet and the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring flawless communication and control.
