Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin the installation process by placing the compressor base seamlessly onto the foundation. To achieve perfect leveling, strategically position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base.
Ensure the use of alternating wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is perfectly level, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 intervals for optimal stability. Keep in mind,
these wedges must be crafted and set up by the user to suit specific conditions. Ensure the contact surfaces are precisely finished for even contact across the inclined
plane, without exceeding a bearing capacity of 40 Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to ascertain the unit's precision. The unit must meet stringent leveling criteria: the axial level should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level needs to be 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Perfect alignment is crucial for coupling. Before embarking on this critical task, ensure these preparatory steps are meticulously followed:
1) Ensure absolute safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield to access the components;
3) Dismantle the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane for any foreign objects, dirt, or attachments to maintain a pristine surface;
5) The motor bolt holes must exceed the bolt size, allowing for easy loosening to adjust the motor positioning;
6) Gather a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets to ensure the motor's stability. These gaskets must be attachment-free and flawlessly flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a 0.01mm accuracy (to be sourced by the customer);
8) Prepare and have ready a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;

9) The motor wheel hub bracket is essential for securely mounting a dial indicator, allowing the probe to perfectly gauge the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum allowable deviation is 0.05mm (ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft line), with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and conduct a thorough review of both outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) After successful idling tests, reinstall the intermediate coupling section.
3.3.4 Post-alignment and level adjustments, ensure the casing's anchor bolts are securely tightened. After the initial mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts for enhanced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller operates at high speeds, making it sensitive to any foreign solids or liquids, which can cause irreversible damage. It's crucial to verify that all inlet and outlet pipelines are thoroughly clean and compliant with the system's required steam corrosion grade. Rectify any pipelines that fall short.
Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet to prevent damage.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure all associated pipeline accessories are installed in alignment with the PI diagram. The pipelines should be supported independently by additional brackets, ensuring no weight is borne by the compressor body to maintain integrity.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, you will be ready to commence the compressor operation test. This step is a crucial milestone in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. For seamless integration, ensure the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet is securely connected through a threading pipe that is expertly laid underground. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly in place, carefully connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless communication channel.
