The core principle of MVR involves the sophisticated compression of secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, through a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process expertly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an elevation of both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The heightened temperature then seamlessly cycles back the secondary steam to the evaporator, facilitating material heating and further evaporation. This advanced recycling of the latent heat of vaporization exemplifies cutting-edge efficiency and sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of modern engineering, comprised of several key components including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an anti-surge control system. Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation. To achieve optimal stability, position wedge-shaped shims under the base for precise leveling.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, ensuring the unit is leveled perfectly, and spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points.
The wedge must be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific installation conditions, ensuring even contact on the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm².

3.3.2 Utilize a level to ascertain the unit's precision. The axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal level at 0.10/1000mm for flawless performance.
Maintaining these levels ensures the unit operates with utmost efficiency.

3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Prior to beginning the alignment process, adhere to these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is turned off for safety;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is flat and free from debris or unwanted substances;
5) Motor bolt holes should exceed bolt size to allow loosening for precise adjustments;
6) Have sufficient stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's base, ensuring they are clean and perfectly flat. Avoid using overly long or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a robust bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;

9) Use the motor hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator at the compressor wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the outer edge of the wheel hub;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet until the compressor and motor center lines align accurately, with a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then verify the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for accuracy;
12) After successfully testing motor idling, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts. After a successful mechanical or trial operation, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 As the impeller rotates at high speeds, any solid or liquid entering can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are clean and meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines not meeting these standards must be rectified.
It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to prevent damage.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with care. Follow the PI diagram for the placement of relevant pipeline accessories. Ensure the pipelines are supported externally and not by the compressor itself to avoid undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment have been expertly installed and the concrete foundation has fully solidified, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This step ensures everything is functioning optimally.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet no more than 5 meters from the compressor for seamless integration. Use threading pipes to connect the wiring from the compressor to the cabinet, ensuring these pipes are safely routed underground. After positioning the electric control cabinet, meticulously connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines for a robust and reliable connection.
