3.3.1 To ensure a flawless foundation for your High-Speed Compressor with Oil-Film and Direct Drive for Industry, begin by placing the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve the perfect level.
Skillfully place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is leveled to perfection, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points for secure positioning. Remember,
the wedge should be crafted and installed by the user, customized to the specific situation. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for even contact of inclined planes, and note that
the bearing capacity of the wedge iron must not exceed 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to find and maintain the unit's perfect level. The stringent leveling requirements include: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level precision
of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
3.3.3 Achieving precise coupling alignment is crucial. Before commencing with alignment, thoroughly confirm the following essential steps:
1) Safely disconnect the main power supply to prevent any unexpected starts;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield for easy access;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to facilitate alignment;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane rigorously, ensuring it's clean and free from debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt size. This allows for loosening and motor adjustment as needed;
6) Gather an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor feet. These gaskets must be attachment-free and perfectly flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base.
7) Employ a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter (0.01mm accuracy) sourced by the customer for precision alignment;
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the figure below for exact measurements;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is essential for affixing a dial indicator at the wheel hub edge, positioning the probe at the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By deftly adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor centerlines precisely. Ensure the maximum outer circle deviation is only 0.05mm, with the motor shaft centerline ideally positioned slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft centerline, and coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by firmly tightening the motor foot bolts, re-evaluating the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling to confirm impeccable alignment;
12) Once alignment is validated, install the coupling intermediate section post motor idling test to confirm smooth operation.
3.3.4 After achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial run, ensure to loosen and retighten bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed rotating component, demands protection. Prevent any solid or liquid intrusion to avoid irreversible compressor damage. Confirm that inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and comply with system steam corrosion grade requirements. Non-compliant pipelines must be promptly rectified. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for added assurance.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes meticulously. Follow the PI diagram for installing essential pipeline accessories. Always ensure that pipelines linked to the compressor are supported independently by another bracket, preventing any undue weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary components have been securely installed and the concrete foundation has fully cured, it's time to initiate the operation test of the compressor. This marks a critical phase in ensuring optimal functionality and performance of the High-Speed Compressor with Oil-Film and Direct Drive for Industry by NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO.,LTD.
3.3.8 For seamless integration, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically situated within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be executed via underground threading pipes. Once the electric control cabinet is correctly positioned, ensure that the wiring terminals in the cabinet are meticulously linked with the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) for enhanced operational efficiency and control.
