This assembly consists of essential components such as a volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. 3.3.1 To initiate the installation, securely place the compressor base onto its designated foundation. For precise leveling, insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base.
Strategically position two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit achieves perfect leveling, proceed to spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points for added stability.
It is crucial that the user manufactures and installs the wedges based on specific situational needs, ensuring that the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for even and secure contact.
The inclined plane of the wedge must provide steadfast support, with a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to determine the exact level. The axial level precision should be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level precision requires 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure the unit meets rigorous leveling standards as specified.
3.3.3 For coupling alignment, ensure the following critical steps are adhered to before proceeding:
1) Ensure complete disconnection of the main power supply to maintain safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield to access internal components.
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to facilitate easy alignment.
4) Verify the motor installation surface is impeccably clean, devoid of debris or obstructions.
5) Ensure that motor bolt holes provide ample clearance for easy bolt adjustments during motor alignment.
6) Prepare an adequate supply of stainless steel gaskets for motor support. They must be pristine and devoid of contaminants for optimal alignment.
7) Utilize a highly accurate dial indicator or laser alignment meter, with a precision of 0.01mm, to achieve meticulous alignment.
8) Equip yourself with a bracket that supports the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position the dial indicator precisely on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Adjust the motor feet using the adjustment bolts until the center lines of the compressor and motor are aligned. Ensure the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft.
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts. Reassess the outer circle and end face runout for optimal precision.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstal the coupling intermediate section to finalize the setup.
3.3.4 After perfecting the casing's "levelness" and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation, loosen bolts slightly, retightening them to ensure optimal stability.
3.3.5 As the impeller rotates at high speeds, it is imperative to prevent solid or liquid ingress, which can cause catastrophic damage. Ensure pipelines connected to the compressor are scrupulously clean, adhering to system steam corrosion standards. Rectify incompatible pipelines, and consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Install compressor inlet and outlet pipes in accordance with the PI diagram's specifications. Support these pipelines with separate brackets to prevent undue stress on the compressor body, ensuring all accessories are appropriately attached for seamless operation.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its related ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidity, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This signifies a critical step in ensuring the reliability and efficiency of your setup.
3.3.8 To ensure optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be positioned within 5 meters of the unit. The wiring from the compressor to this cabinet should be meticulously connected using a threading pipe, which must be installed underground for protection and durability. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, it is crucial to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring seamless integration and control.
