Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base directly onto the foundation, then tactfully insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for optimal leveling.
Alternately place two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is perfectly leveled, delicately spot weld the irons at 4-5 strategic points. The wedge should be
custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to the specific conditions, ensuring the contact surface is precisely finished for flawless engagement of the
inclined plane. Note, the wedge iron's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's exact leveling. The unit’s alignment requirements are as follows: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a
horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for impeccable precision.

3.3.3 Achieve coupling alignment. Prior to commencement, ensure adherence to these essential prerequisites:
1) Power down the main supply with utmost care;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with finesse;
4) Scrutinize the motor installation plane for absolute flatness, free from foreign objects, debris, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole exceeds bolt size for easy adjustments, allowing bolt loosening to fine-tune the motor position;
6) Accumulate ample stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor foot. Gaskets must be pristine and flawlessly flat. Prohibit the use of elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (client responsibility);
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated below;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator on the wheel hub's perimeter, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines, ensuring a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should exceed the compressor low-speed shaft center line, with coupling endface deviations of 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and re-evaluate both the coupling's outer circle and endface runouts for precision assurance.
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's balance and alignment are flawlessly adjusted, tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation (or trial run), loosen and retighten the bolts for reinforced stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-velocity component, is vulnerable to irreversible damage from any solid or liquid intrusion, necessitating pristine inlet and outlet pipeline conditions, conforming to the system's steam corrosion grade. Non-compliant pipelines require immediate rectification. It's advised to implement solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to ensure optimal protection.

3.3.6 For inlet and outlet pipes installation, adhere strictly to PI diagram specifications. Pipelines must be supported independently, ensuring zero weight burden on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Following the meticulous installation of the main fan and its ancillary equipment, and after ensuring that the concrete foundation has completely solidified, you can embark on the compressor operation test. This critical phase ensures that all components are functioning harmoniously, setting the stage for the seamless operation of the Optimized Steam Compressor with Guide Vane Adjustment for Wastewater.
3.3.8 It is essential that the electric control cabinet for the compressor is positioned within a convenient distance of 5m from the compressor. The wiring between the compressor and the control cabinet is to be skillfully connected using a threading pipe, which will be securely laid underground for safety and efficiency. Upon installation of the electric control cabinet, ensure a reliable connection between the wiring terminals in the cabinet and the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating smooth and precise control over the system's operations.
