By cleverly reutilizing the secondary steam energy it produces, MVR transforms energy efficiency. Its core principle involves the compression of secondary steam generated by the evaporator through a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process skillfully converts electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an elevation of both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The elevated temperature returns the steam to the evaporator, heating the materials and inducing evaporation, thereby achieving an intelligent recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a masterful engineering feat, comprising a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance and operational efficiency.
3.3.1 To begin the installation, the compressor base should be securely and integrally positioned on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adjust and maintain the unit's level.
For optimal stability, insert the wedge-shaped irons in alternating positions. Once leveling is achieved, perform spot welding on the wedges at 4 to 5 points to secure them firmly in place.
The wedges are custom-manufactured by the user, tailored to the specific conditions of installation. Ensure that the contact surface is finely finished to guarantee even contact with the inclined plane.
It's crucial that the bearing capacity of each wedge iron does not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level to accurately determine the unit's level. The requirements for leveling are: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm and the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 The alignment of the coupling is central to optimal operation. Before beginning alignment, ensure the following steps are completed:
1) The main power supply must be turned off to ensure safety during the process.
2) Remove the coupling shield with care to access the necessary components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate alignment.
4) Ensure the motor installation plane is perfectly flat and free from any debris, dirt, or attachments that could affect alignment.
5) The motor bolt holes must be larger than the bolts to allow adjustment, enabling easy loosening and positioning of the motor.
6) Gather sufficient stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's foot. These gaskets should be clean and flat, avoiding the use of long and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, ensuring precision; this equipment should be customer-provided.
8) Prepare the necessary bracket to support the dial indicator according to the diagram provided below.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge and place the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By delicately adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines, aiming for a maximum deviation of 0.05mm on the outer circle, ensuring the motor shaft center line remains slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face should maintain a deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Once alignment is confirmed, securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and re-evaluate the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling to ensure precision.
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section for final assembly.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of 'levelness' and casing alignment, secure the anchor bolts tightly. After performing mechanical operations or trial runs, loosen and retighten the bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is an essential high-speed component. To avoid irrevocable damage, ensure no solids or liquids infiltrate the impeller. Maintain clean inlet and outlet pipelines that meet system steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines should be modified accordingly. Consider installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet for additional safety.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes carefully. Import and export pipelines must be equipped with appropriate accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. Ensure pipelines are supported by separate brackets, as the compressor body should not bear any additional weight.
3.3.7 Following the meticulous installation of the main fan and its associated ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has reached complete solidification, we embark on the crucial compressor operation test. This pivotal moment ensures that all components are working harmoniously, ready to deliver the outstanding performance that our Innovative Watervapour Compressor promises.
3.3.8 For optimal performance, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. This proximity facilitates seamless operation. To maintain a sleek and unobtrusive design, the wiring connecting the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be elegantly threaded through underground piping. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, the next step involves meticulously connecting the wiring terminals in the cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a reliable and efficient network.
