3.3.1 The compressor base is meticulously placed on the foundation. Beneath the base, wedge-shaped shims are strategically positioned to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
These wedge-shaped irons should be alternately placed. Once the unit achieves balance, spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 points. Users must manufacture and install the wedges based on their specific needs,
ensuring that the contact surface is precisely finished. This guarantees consistent contact across the inclined plane, maintaining a robust bearing capacity no greater than 40Kg/cm
2.
3.3.2 Use a high-precision level to ensure the unit is perfectly level. The axial level precision requirement is 0.05/1000mm, with a horizontal level requirement of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Coupling alignment is crucial. Prior to starting the alignment process, adhere to the following essential steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is flat, clean, and free of debris or obstructions;
5) The motor bolt holes must be larger than the bolts themselves to allow easy adjustments;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to fully cover the motor's feet. The gaskets should be smooth and free from contaminants. Refrain from using long, thin gaskets for adjustment purposes;
7) Use either a dial indicator or a laser alignment tool with a precision of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Set up a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator near the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines closely, targeting a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm (the motor shaft should be slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line), maintaining a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then double-check the alignment for any outer circle and end face deviations on the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idle test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's "levelness" and alignment are flawlessly adjusted, ensure all anchor bolts are securely tightened. After the trial operation, it's advisable to re-loosen and re-tighten these bolts.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating element; any intrusion of solids or liquids can cause irreversible damage to the compressor. Therefore, it is vital to maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor, ensuring they comply with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. If they do not, immediate rectification is necessary. Consider incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the integration of relevant pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipelines attached to the compressor should be independently supported by another bracket to avoid any strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are installed and the concrete has thoroughly solidified, you can confidently proceed with the compressor's operation test.
