The fundamental principle of this groundbreaking technology is straightforward yet powerful: the secondary steam produced by the evaporator undergoes compression using a high-energy-efficiency steam compressor. This transformation converts electrical energy into potent thermal energy, thereby elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Once heated, this upgraded steam is cycled back to the evaporator, where it plays a critical role in heating materials and inducing further evaporation. This intelligent process masterfully recycles the latent heat of vaporization within the secondary steam, heralding a new era of energy reuse and efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is an engineering marvel that comprises an array of sophisticated components including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrumentation, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This state-of-the-art equipment boasts a compact structure, ensuring that maintenance is not only straightforward but also exceedingly convenient. With its impressive design and functionality, the DM series effortlessly blends high performance with ease of upkeep, making it an indispensable asset in the realm of modern steam compression technology.
3.3.1 Place the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously adjust the unit's level.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons carefully. Once the unit is leveled, perform a precise spot weld on the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. The wedges should be
custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to fit actual conditions, ensuring the contact surface is finely finished for optimal inclined plane contact.
The wedge iron must sustain no more than 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to discern the level. The unit's leveling criteria: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, guaranteeing precision.
3.3.3 Center the coupling. Prior to beginning alignment, ensure these critical requirements are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply;
2) Detach the coupling shield;
3) Dismantle the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane for flatness, ensuring it's free from foreign materials, dirt, or attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes should exceed bolt size, allowing loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Collect ample, attachment-free stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor foot. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision (customer-provided);
8) Prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket positions the dial indicator on the hub's edge, ensuring the probe contacts the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, maintaining the motor shaft center line above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviation should be between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for accuracy;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's 'levelness' and alignment, tighten the anchor bolts. Post-trial operation, loosen and retighten these bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a rapidly spinning component, must remain free of solid or liquid intrusion to prevent irreversible compressor damage. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and conform to the system's steam corrosion grade. Rectify any pipelines that fall short.Adding a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet is recommended to ensure solid-liquid separation.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines integrate relevant accessories per the PI diagram. Pipelines connected to the compressor need separate support, as their weight should not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan of the Cutting-Edge Steam Compressor and its ancillary equipment are firmly installed and the concrete foundation has fully set, it's time to initiate the thrilling compressor operation test.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the Cutting-Edge Steam Compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to this control cabinet must be done with precision, using threading pipes that journey underground. Once the control cabinet is securely in place, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a flawless integration.
