MVR, known as mechanical vapor recompression, represents an ingenious energy-saving innovation that significantly minimizes the requirement for external energy. This is achieved by masterfully reutilizing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle involves harnessing the secondary steam produced by the evaporator, which is meticulously compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process effectively transforms electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Subsequently, the enhanced secondary steam reenters the evaporator to efficiently heat materials and provoke evaporation, thereby accomplishing an impressive recycle of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is an exceptional assembly comprised of several key components, including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance and seamless operation.

Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be meticulously positioned on the foundation. Start by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure a perfect level for the unit.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons alternately to achieve optimal leveling. Once achieved, secure with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges are
to be crafted and installed by the end user, tailored to fit the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is expertly finished for even contact across the
inclined plane. The wedge iron's load capacity should not surpass 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level for this procedure. The unit must meet the demanding leveling criteria: an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level precision of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure precision and accuracy with every measurement.

3.3.3 Proper coupling alignment is crucial. Prior to starting alignment, please adhere to the following critical steps:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly check the motor installation plane for any foreign particles, dirt, or attachments;
5) Confirm that the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt size which allows for proper adjustment;
6) Prepare a robust supply of stainless steel gaskets to fit under the motor feet, ensuring they are smooth and free of any attachments. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustment;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an exquisite accuracy of 0.01mm, which should be provided by the customer;
8) Ready the bracket to support the dial indicator, as demonstrated in the diagram below for flawless alignment;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to precisely position the dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the probe rests on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet so that the compressor and motor center lines align exactly (or follow specific instructions), achieving a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain coupling end face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly, and meticulously recheck the coupling for any outer circle or end face runout;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing achieves precise 'levelness' and alignment, anchor the bolts securely. After the operation, whether mechanical or trial, release and retighten the bolts to ensure absolute security.
3.3.5 The impeller is a finely-tuned high-speed rotating component, and any solid or liquid intrusion can cause severe irreversible damage to the compressor. It is vital to confirm that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are absolutely clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines failing to meet this condition must be immediately rectified. As a precaution,
we recommend incorporating solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to ensure pristine operation.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that relevant pipeline accessories are affixed according to the PI diagram. The compressor-connected pipelines should be independently supported by an additional bracket, ensuring the weight does not burden the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete has reached full solidification, it is time to initiate the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that all components function harmoniously, paving the way for efficient and reliable performance.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, a vital component of the compressor system, must be strategically installed within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor. For optimal safety and functionality, the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be securely connected using a threading pipe, which is to be seamlessly routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is properly positioned, it is essential to connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a smooth and integrated operational network.
