Installation Instructions

3.3.1 Begin by placing the compressor base carefully on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure the unit is perfectly leveled.
Alternately position two wedge-shaped irons, and once the unit is leveled, perform spot welding on the wedges at 4 to 5 points. These wedges should be
created and installed by the user to fit the specific conditions on-site, ensuring finished contact surfaces for an even contact of inclined
planes. Note that the load-bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain horizontal and axial alignment. The stringent leveling criteria for the unit entail an axial level of 0.05/1000mm,
while maintaining a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by adhering to these guidelines before commencing the alignment process:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Inspect and confirm the flatness of the motor installation surface, ensuring it's free of any debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes exceed the bolt size to allow loosening, facilitating motor adjustments;
6) Gather a sufficient number of stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's base. These gaskets must be attachment-free and uniformly flat, avoiding the use of long, thin gaskets for insertion between the motor and base;
7) Employ a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter (accuracy of 0.01mm), which the customer should provide;
8) Set up the dial indicator's supporting bracket as depicted in the accompanying illustration;

9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with the probe set to the outer edge of the compressor's wheel hub;
10) Adjust the motor's foot bolts accordingly to ensure the compressor and motor centerlines are aligned. Ensure the maximum deviation of the outer circle is no greater than 0.05mm, with the motor shaft centerline elevated over the compressor's low-speed shaft centerline, and maintain a coupling end face deviation between 0.03mm and 0.05mm;

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and recheck the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Following the motor's idle test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are perfected, proceed to tighten the anchor bolts. After a successful mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and re-tighten the bolts for optimal security.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed, delicately balanced component. To avert irreversible damage to the compressor, ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines are scrupulously clean and conform to the steam corrosion grade of the system. Pipelines lacking compliance require immediate rectification. It's
advisable to install solid-liquid separation devices, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram to appropriately install essential pipeline accessories. The compressor's connected pipeline must be independently braced to prevent any load on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its supporting equipment, has been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached its full strength and stability, you’re ready to initiate the compressor's operational test. This is a critical step, ensuring the pinnacle of performance and reliability for the State-of-the-Art Steam Compressor.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Ensure that the wiring connecting the compressor to the electric control cabinet is securely encased in threading pipe and routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is precisely positioned, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) to enable efficient and effective operation.
