3.3.1 For the highest efficiency of your High-Performance Steam Compressor with Split Base and Adjustable Vane from NANTONG DART-RICH FAN CO., LTD, ensure the compressor base is securely positioned on a robust foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims strategically placed beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Skillfully alternate the arrangement of the wedge-shaped irons. Once precise leveling is attained, securely spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points. Custom-make the wedges to suit the specific installation requirements, ensuring a seamless surface for optimal force distribution.
Finish the contact surface to perfection, ensuring uniform contact of the inclined plane. It is vital that the bearing capacity of the wedge irons does not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Use a precision level to carefully adjust the unit's level. The rigorous leveling standards demand an axial level of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm for unmatched precision.
3.3.3 Follow these essential steps to achieve impeccable coupling alignment:
1) For maximum safety, ensure the main power supply is completely shut off;
2) Remove the coupling shield with care;
3) Precisely detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Meticulously check the motor installation plane's flatness for cleanliness and absence of foreign materials;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are larger than the bolts, facilitating easy motor adjustments by loosening bolts when needed;
6) Stock high-quality stainless steel gaskets for motor base support. Ensure these gaskets are impeccably flat and devoid of attachments, avoiding long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, provided by the customer;
8) Securely prepare a robust bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated in the accompanying diagram;
9) Attach the dial indicator to the motor wheel hub bracket, positioning its probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer rim;
10) With deft precision, adjust the motor feet's bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Limit the outer circle deviation to 0.05mm, slightly elevating the motor shaft center line above the compressor low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03 to 0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and review the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling for optimal alignment.
12) After a successful motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling intermediate section for seamless operation.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment have been finely tuned, firmly tighten the anchor bolts for stability. Post mechanical or trial operations, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure long-lasting reliability.
3.3.5 With the impeller being a high-speed rotating component, preventing intrusion of solids or liquids is crucial to avoid damaging the compressor. Guarantee that the inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculately clean and meet the system's steam corrosion grade standards, making necessary adjustments for non-conforming pipelines.For optimal system integrity, it is highly advisable to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment—such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee—before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to skillfully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. It's imperative that the import and export pipelines are equipped with essential pipeline accessories as outlined in the PI diagram. To maintain optimal functionality and avoid undue strain on the compressor body, ensure that the pipeline connected to the compressor is supported by a separate, sturdy bracket.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its associated equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved complete solidity, you're all set to embark on the exhilarating phase of conducting a compressor operation test. This essential step ensures that every component functions seamlessly, affirming that everything is in impeccable working order.
3.3.8 Strategically position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Utilize a robust threading pipe to impeccably connect the wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet, ensuring it is subtly routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is firmly established, proceed to carefully connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a strong and dependable control link.
