The core principle of this advanced system is that the secondary steam emanating from the evaporator is compressed using a highly efficient steam compressor. This process adeptly transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, there's an increase in the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This temperature elevation enables the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it effectively heats the materials and causes evaporation, ensuring the continual recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam. This not only optimizes energy usage but also enhances overall efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of modern engineering, primarily composed of the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This product is renowned for its compact design, which simplifies maintenance procedures and enhances operational convenience, making it an ideal choice for high-efficiency applications.
3.3.1 Begin the installation journey by placing the integrally designed compressor base on a firm foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to effortlessly achieve the perfect level for the unit.
Strategically place the wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure the irons with spot welding at 4-5 points. This process ensures stability and precision.
The user is encouraged to manufacture and install the wedges tailored to the actual conditions, guaranteeing a seamless contact surface.
The ingenuity of the design ensures that the inclined plane contacts evenly, and the weight-bearing capacity of the wedge iron remains a commendable 40Kg/cm.2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level tool to achieve the precise level. The unit boasts impressive leveling requirements: an axial level tolerance of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level tolerance of 0.10/1000mm.
This ensures the finest precision and impeccable alignment for optimal performance.
3.3.3 The art of coupling alignment begins here. Before engaging in this task, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Ensure safety by deactivating the main power supply;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation's flatness, keeping it free from debris, dirt, and unwanted attachments;
5) The motor's bolt hole should exceed the bolt size to allow easy loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Equip yourself with ample stainless steel gaskets to seamlessly cover the motor's foot, ensuring they are attachment-free and impeccably flat. Avoid using slender, elongated gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a highly accurate (0.01mm) dial indicator or laser alignment meter, carefully prepared by the customer for precision alignment;
8) Ready the support bracket for the dial indicator, following the illustration provided below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adeptly adjusting the motor foot’s bolts, align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor’s shaft center line positioned higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Maintain coupling end face deviations between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and meticulously check the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for flawless performance.;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling's intermediate section post the motor's idling test.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts. After a thorough mechanical operation or trial run, release and retighten the bolts for ultimate security.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain free from solid or liquid intrusions to avoid irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines connecting to the compressor are pristine and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines falling short must be promptly rectified.It is highly advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the compressor inlet's straight pipe for additional protection.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Align import and export pipelines with relevant accessories as depicted in the PI diagram. Ensure that the compressor body is unburdened by supporting the connected pipeline with an alternate bracket.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary equipment are expertly assembled and the concrete foundation is completely set, you are ready to proceed with the compressor's operational testing phase.
3.3.8 For optimal functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within 5 meters of the compressor itself. Ensure that the wiring, elegantly routed through threading pipes, is installed underground for safety and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is securely situated, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring perfect integration.
