This ingenious cycle not only enhances the system's efficiency but also realizes the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, consisting of a robust compressor body, a reliable coupling, a sophisticated gearbox, an efficient lubrication system, a powerful motor, advanced electric instrumentation, and an anti-surge control system. 3.3.1 Begin by securely placing the compressor base integrally onto its designated foundation. To achieve perfect unit leveling, insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately, carefully leveling the unit. Secure these irons by spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user is responsible for fabricating and installing the wedges to suit specific conditions, ensuring the contact surfaces are finely finished for optimal contact of inclined planes.
The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should be carefully maintained, not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to ascertain the unit's level. The axial level should be precisely 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should meet the standard of 0.10/1000mm.

3.3.3 Centering the coupling is pivotal. Prior to initiating alignment, ensure the following essential steps are completed:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to prevent any electrical hazards;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with care;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane for any foreign objects, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) Ensure that the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts themselves, allowing easy adjustments by loosening the bolts;
6) Prepare an adequate supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. These gaskets should be free of impurities and sufficiently flat—avoid using long, thin gaskets for insertion.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, which must be procured by the customer;
8) Prepare the essential bracket to support the dial indicator as illustrated in the accompanying figure;
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket for the dial indicator, ensuring its probe is placed accurately on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By carefully adjusting the motor feet's adjustment bolts, align the compressor and motor centerlines. The outer circle's maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, maintaining the coupling end face within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and meticulously review the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Once the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing are perfected, tighten the anchor bolts. Repeat the tightening process after the trial mechanical operation, ensuring robustness.
3.3.5 Impellers are high-speed rotating components, and any solid or liquid intrusion can irreversibly damage the compressor. Thus, it is imperative to ensure cleanliness and adherence to system-specific steam corrosion grades in inlet and outlet pipelines. Any non-compliant pipelines must be promptly rectified. It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe..
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. These pipelines must incorporate all relevant accessories as specified in the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipelines are supported by independent brackets, with no reliance on the compressor body for support.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete base has fully solidified, you are ready to proceed with the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures optimal performance and reliability of the system.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor for efficient operation. Ensure that the wiring from the compressor to the control cabinet is expertly connected using threading pipes, which should be routed underground for maximum safety and minimal exposure. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote Distributed Control System (DCS) lines to ensure a coherent and synchronized operation.
