3.3.1 With precision and care, place the compressor base integrally onto the foundation. Beneath this base, insert wedge-shaped shims, essential for achieving perfect unit leveling.
Position these cleverly engineered wedges alternately. Once the unit is impeccably leveled, execute spot welding on the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. Each wedge should be meticulously
crafted and installed by you, tailored to the specific conditions of your setup. Ensure the contact surface is flawlessly finished for seamless contact of inclined planes, bearing in mind
that the wedge's bearing capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve outstanding accuracy in leveling. The unit's exacting leveling standards are: axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal
level precision of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal operation efficiency.
3.3.3 Center the coupling with precision. Prior to initiating alignment, meticulously verify these essential prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is safely turned off;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield with care;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Examine the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring zero presence of debris, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) Check that the motor bolt hole exceeds the bolt size for easy loosening and motor adjustments;
6) Gather ample stainless steel gaskets for motor foot coverage. These gaskets should be free from attachments and sufficiently flat. Do not use long, thin gaskets for motor-to-base adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, available at your discretion;
8) Prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying illustration;
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge. Position the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By deftly adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line with precision (follow specific instructions as needed), ensuring the maximum deviation on the outer circle is 0.05mm, and that the motor shaft center line is slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face deviation within 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then review both the outer circle runout and the coupling's end face runout for optimal alignment.;
12) Conclude with the installation of the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post adjustment of the unit's 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. After a mechanical or trial operation, it's imperative to loosen, then retighten the bolts to ensure continued stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a marvel of high-speed engineering, is vulnerable to damage from any solid or liquid intrusion. Thus, it's vital to guarantee that inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Pipelines failing to meet these standards demand rectification. It is stronglyrecommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, just before the compressor inlet's straight pipe, to safeguard the system's integrity.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. These pipelines should include relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. Remember, the pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported by an independent bracket, ensuring its weight does not burden the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been securely installed and the concrete has reached full solidification, it sets the stage for the exhilarating moment of initiating the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that the system is ready to perform at its peak efficiency, providing unparalleled reliability and performance in managing sugar liquid processing.
3.3.8 For seamless integration of your compressor operations, ensure the electric control cabinet is strategically positioned within 5m of the compressor. The wiring, elegantly threaded through underground piping, connects the compressor to the electric control cabinet. Once the cabinet is perfectly placed, it is essential to meticulously link the wiring terminals in the electric control cabinet with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a flawless communication pathway for optimal operational control.
