MVR, known as mechanical vapor recompression, represents an innovative energy-saving technology designed to dramatically reduce the reliance on external energy sources. This is achieved by harnessing and reutilizing the secondary steam energy it generates. At the heart of this process is its fundamental principle: the secondary steam produced by the evaporator undergoes compression using a highly efficient steam compressor. This brilliant transformation converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. As a result, this newly energized secondary steam is channeled back to the evaporator, where it heats the materials, triggering further evaporation. This ingenious cycle ensures the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, maximizing energy use and minimizing waste.
The DM Series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a masterpiece of engineering, comprising the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its design boasts a compact structure that not only ensures space efficiency but also facilitates hassle-free maintenance. This cutting-edge compressor is tailored for optimal performance, reliability, and ease of operation.
3.3.1 To begin, place the compressor base integrally on the prepared foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims under the base to ensure accurate leveling of the unit.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately, then proceed to level the unit, and spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points for stability. The wedge should be
custom-manufactured by the user to meet the specific conditions. Ensure the contact surface is meticulously finished, achieving even contact of the inclined
planes. The bearing capacity of the wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm².
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to confirm the unit's alignment. The required leveling precision: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal
level should achieve 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Focus on centering the coupling. Before proceeding, ensure compliance with these prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely switched off;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield carefully;
3) Remove the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is free from debris and residue;
5) Motor bolt holes should be larger than the bolts to allow loosening for motor adjustment;
6) Prepare ample stainless steel gaskets to fully support the motor's feet. Gaskets must be clean and flat, and avoid using long, thin gaskets for motor-base adjustments;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (customer-supplied);
8) Prepare the required bracket for supporting the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is designated for attaching a dial indicator on the hub's edge, and the probe should be positioned on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to ensure the compressor and motor center lines are aligned precisely. The outer circle's maximum deviation should be 0.05mm, and the motor shaft center line ideally positioned slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with a permitted coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts once all adjustments are confirmed. Re-evaluate outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section only after a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post alignment and leveling adjustments, ensure tightening of all anchor bolts. Following any mechanical operation or trial run, release and retighten the bolts to maintain security.
3.3.5 As the impeller operates at high speeds, safeguarding against damage is critical. Ensure no solid or liquid enters the impeller by maintaining pristine cleanliness of the inlet and outlet pipelines, adhering to the system’s steam corrosion standards. Should any pipelines fail to meet these standards, prompt rectification is essential. It isrecommended to install solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, prior to the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of inlet and outlet pipes for the compressor. Follow the PI diagram to incorporate relevant pipeline accessories, ensuring the external pipelines are supported independently by a separate bracket, bearing no weight on the compressor structure.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its auxiliary equipment is securely installed and the concrete has fully cured, you can seamlessly proceed to the compressor operation test. This step ensures that everything is perfectly aligned and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 Ensure the electric control cabinet for the compressor is strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. Utilize threading pipes for the wiring, ensuring they are installed underground for maximum safety and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet is positioned, meticulously connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, establishing a robust and reliable connection.
