3.3.1 The robust compressor base should be integrally placed on the foundation. For precision leveling, position wedge-shaped shims under the base.
Ensure alternating placement of these wedges. After achieving perfect leveling, securely spot weld the wedges at 4~5 strategic points.
Wedges should be crafted and implemented by the user, tailored to the actual conditions. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished for even contact.
The inclined plane should maintain optimal contact, with the wedge's bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain perfect alignment. The unit's axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while its horizontal level should reach 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Centering the coupling is crucial. Before commencing alignment, ensure these essential conditions are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply completely;
2) Carefully remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it's free from debris, dirt, or attachments.
5) Motor bolt holes should exceed bolt sizes to allow bolt loosening for motor adjustment.
6) Prepare a sufficient supply of stainless steel gaskets for the motor's foot, ensuring they are attachment-free and impeccably flat. Avoid using excessively long or thin gaskets for inserting between the motor and base during adjustments.
7) Use a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, provided by the customer.
8) Prepare the appropriate bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below.
9) Employ a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge. Position the dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines accurately, ensuring the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face deviation should be between 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Once aligned, securely tighten the motor foot bolts and reassess the outer circle runout along with the coupling end face runout;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal "levelness" and alignment of the casing, tighten all anchor bolts. After initial mechanical operation or trial runs, loosen the bolts and retighten them to ensure secure installation.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating component, with any solid or liquid intrusion leading to irreversible damage to the compressor. Therefore, it's imperative to ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor are immaculate and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must undergo rectification. Consider adding solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install inlet and outlet pipes for the compressor. Ensure pipeline accessories align with the PI diagram. Pipelines attached to the compressor should be supported by an independent bracket, preventing any weight bearing on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Upon successful installation of the main fan and its associated equipment, and once the concrete has fully reached its solid state, the compressor operation test is ready to commence. 3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection from the compressor to the electric control cabinet ought to be executed using a threading pipe, which must be routed underground for optimal safety and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet is securely in place, proceed to connect the wiring terminals inside the cabinet to the remote DCS, ensuring an integrated and streamlined control system.
