This is achieved by ingeniously reusing the energy of secondary steam that it generates. The core principle revolves around compressing the secondary steam, produced by the evaporator, using a high-efficiency steam compressor to ingeniously transform electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, both the pressure and the temperature of the secondary steam are elevated. This heated steam is then cycled back to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats the materials, inducing further evaporation. This elegant process facilitates the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization, ensuring the sustainable use of energy and maximizing efficiency.
The DM series Single-stage geard steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring a meticulously designed compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, and electric instrument. Additionally, it is equipped with an advanced anti-surge control system. Its compact structure allows for seamless integration and ease of maintenance, ensuring that operations remain smooth and efficient at all times.
3.3.1 The compressor base is precisely positioned and gracefully rests upon the foundation. Use wedge-shaped shims underneath the base to perfect the leveling of the unit.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating fashion, achieve impeccable leveling, and then secure the irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. The user should craft and install
the wedges based on specific conditions, ensuring finely finished contact surfaces for flawless engagement on inclined planes.
These surfaces should maintain a bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve unparalleled precision. The leveling criteria for the unit require an axial level precision of 0.05/1000mm, and a horizontal
precision of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring optimal performance and longevity.
3.3.3 Coupling alignment: Prior to beginning the alignment process, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to guarantee safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield to facilitate access;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to prepare for alignment;
4) Verify the motor installation plane is immaculate, free from debris, dirt, or any unnecessary attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolt size to allow easy adjustments by loosening the bolts;
6) Have a supply of pristine stainless steel gaskets for the motor's feet; these must be devoid of attachments, perfectly flat, and must not involve long, thin gaskets that could compress inconsistently;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-accuracy laser alignment meter (0.01mm precision, customer-supplied);
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket as depicted in the illustration below to support the dial indicator;
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket facilitates positioning a dial indicator on the wheel hub's perimeter, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Carefully adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines precisely. The maximum permissible deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face should maintain a deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Once alignment is achieved, secure the motor foot bolts and perform a meticulous review of the outer circle runout and coupling end face runout.;
12) Conclude by installing the coupling intermediate section post successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Subsequent to the meticulous adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment within the casing, anchor bolts must be firmly tightened. Following mechanical operation or a trial run, these bolts should be loosened and retightened to preserve precision.
3.3.5 As a high-speed rotating component, the impeller demands particular attention; any solid or liquid ingress can lead to irrevocable damage. Thus, ensure that all connected inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements. Any non-compliant pipelines must be promptly rectified. It is imperative toadd protective measures such as solid-liquid separation equipment (like a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee) before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Align import and export pipelines with relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. Crucially, pipelines must be supported independently and not rely on the compressor body for structural support.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supplementary equipment are meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has achieved complete solidification, you are ready to initiate the compressor operation test. This marks a pivotal step in ensuring the seamless functionality of the system.
3.3.8 Position the electric control cabinet of the compressor within a 5-meter perimeter of the compressor itself. Ensure that the wiring from the compressor to this cabinet is adeptly connected through a protective threading pipe routed underground. After securing the electric control cabinet in its designated location, proceed to connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the corresponding lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), establishing a robust and efficient electric network.
