MVR, an acronym for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a groundbreaking energy-saving technology designed to significantly diminish the reliance on external energy sources. At the heart of this technology lies a brilliant principle: the secondary steam generated by the evaporator is expertly compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. As a result, the temperature enhancement allows the secondary steam to return triumphantly to the evaporator, where it efficiently heats materials and induces evaporation. The DM series Single-Stage Geard Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, featuring a meticulously designed compressor body, a robust coupling, a precision-engineered gearbox, an efficient lubrication system, a powerful motor, a sophisticated electric instrument, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Its compact structure ensures space-saving convenience, while the thoughtful design facilitates easy maintenance. This state-of-the-art compressor represents the pinnacle of innovation, offering both reliability and performance to meet the most demanding industrial needs.
3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation with precision. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to meticulously adjust the unit's level.
Place two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. After achieving perfect leveling, spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The user, considering the actual conditions, must fabricate and install the wedges. Ensure the contact surface is finely finished to allow seamless contact of the inclined
plane. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron shall not exceed the robust limit of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level for precise leveling. Adhere to the unit's stringent leveling standards: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal
level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring utmost precision in alignment.
3.3.3 Coupling is centered with utmost care. Before commencing alignment, please ensure the following essential steps are completed:
1) Ensure the main power supply is safely turned off.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section with precision.
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is devoid of any debris, dirt, or attachments.
5) Ensure the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt size for seamless adjustment.
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets prepared to fully cover the motor's foot. Ensure they are free from attachments and perfectly flat; avoid using long and thin gaskets.
7) Use a high-accuracy dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm (sourced by the customer).
8) Prepare the dial indicator support bracket as illustrated in the accompanying figure.
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) By judiciously adjusting bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines virtually perfectly, maintaining a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft center line should be slightly elevated above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with coupling end face parameters within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Finally, securely tighten the motor foot bolts and meticulously review the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Post motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section seamlessly.
3.3.4 After achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Once the mechanical operation or trial operation concludes, loosen and retighten them for ensured precision.
3.3.5 The impeller is a high-speed rotating marvel, and any ingress of solids or liquids could inflict irreversible harm on the compressor. Hence, it is paramount that the pipelines connecting to the compressor are scrupulously clean, compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Any non-conforming pipelines must undergo immediate rectification. It is highlyrecommended to pre-install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure import and export pipelines are outfitted with requisite accessories as per the PI diagram. Note that pipelines attached to the compressor must be independently supported by another bracket, avoiding any weight bearing on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and all its supportive components are impeccably installed, and the concrete foundation has achieved full solidification, the stage is set for the commencement of the compressor's operation test. This pivotal moment ensures that everything is in perfect working order before moving forward.
3.3.8 The sophisticated electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The critical wiring, connecting the compressor to the electric control cabinet, must be meticulously routed through robust threading pipes, which should be expertly embedded underground to ensure safety and efficiency. Once the electric control cabinet is securely installed, it's time to seamlessly link the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), ensuring a flawless flow of command and control.
