Mechanical Vapor Recompression (MVR) is a revolutionary energy-saving technology designed to significantly minimize external energy consumption by ingeniously recycling the secondary steam energy it produces. The core principle behind this innovative process is the compression of secondary steam generated by the evaporator using a highly efficient steam compressor. This transformation converts electrical energy into thermal energy, elevating both the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. Consequently, this elevated secondary steam returns triumphantly to the evaporator, where it contributes to heating the materials and fostering further evaporation. This entire cycle ingeniously harnesses the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, embodying the essence of sustainable energy recycling.
The DML series of low temperature rise steam compressors is an embodiment of cutting-edge engineering and meticulous design. It primarily consists of a sophisticated compressor body, which includes components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seals. Additionally, it features a coupling, a powerful motor, and an advanced electric instrument suite. Together, these elements harmoniously work to deliver unparalleled performance and efficiency in steam compression, setting a new standard in modern technology.
3.3.1 The compressor base, whether in its overall base or split base design, should be placed integrally onto the foundation. Secure wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure optimal leveling of the unit.
These wedge-shaped irons should be placed alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 points to secure them in place.
The user is responsible for manufacturing and installing the wedges according to their specific requirements. It is crucial that the contact surfaces are finished to perfection for even contact on the inclined plane,
and the load-bearing capacity of each wedge should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precise level to determine the exact level. The leveling standards for our Premium Steam Compressor are meticulous: the axial level must be 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 For coupling alignment, follow these detailed preparatory steps:
1) Ensuring safety, turn off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor's installation plane to make sure it's free from debris, dirt, or any attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts, allowing adjustments when loosening the bolts;
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready to support the motor feet. These gaskets must be free of any attachments and should offer a flat surface. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare the bracket required to support the dial indicator in the configuration shown below;
9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix the dial indicator to the wheel hub’s edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub’s outer edge;
10) Skillfully adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the center lines of the compressor and motor. The maximum permissible deviation of the outer circle should be 0.05mm. Notably, the motor shaft center line should be higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with an alignment tolerance of 0.03~0.05mm on the coupling end face;
11) Once alignment is achieved, secure the motor foot bolts firmly and recheck both the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section after conducting a thorough motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post the meticulous adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, anchor bolts should be tightened. Following the mechanical operation or trial run, these bolts should be loosened and retightened to ensure steadfastness.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotative element, is susceptible to damage from any solid or liquid intrusion. Therefore, it is imperative to maintain cleanliness in the inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor. These pipelines must adhere to the steam corrosion grade standards of the system. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. It is recommended to install a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee before the straight pipe at the compressor inlet to ensure purity.
3.3.6 During the installation of the compressor inlet and outlet pipes, import and export pipelines must incorporate the appropriate accessories as indicated in the PI diagram. Ensure that the pipelines connected to the compressor are supported by an independent bracket, as their weight should not impose on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its ancillary equipment, is installed and the concrete has fully set, proceed with the compressor operation test to ensure everything functions seamlessly.
