This increase allows the steam to return to the evaporator, effectively heating materials and generating evaporation. In doing so, it masterfully recycles the latent heat of vaporization, setting a new standard in sustainable energy use.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprising a sophisticated array of components including the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This unit is designed with a compact structure, ensuring not only superior performance but also ease of maintenance. It encapsulates the perfect blend of innovation and practicality, making it an indispensable asset for any operation prioritizing efficiency and reliability.
3.3.1 To ensure optimal performance, place the compressor base fully on the foundation. Position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately for stability. Once the unit is level, spot weld the wedges at 4-5 strategic points for secure placement.
The user is responsible for manufacturing and installing the wedges according to their specific requirements. Ensure the contact surface is expertly finished for seamless contact.
The inclined plane must evenly contact, with the wedge iron bearing capacity capped at an impressive 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Achieve precise leveling using a level. The unit's axial and horizontal levels should be meticulously maintained at 0.05/1000mm and 0.10/1000mm, respectively.
3.3.3 For coupling alignment, ensure all prerequisites are met before initiating the process:
1) Deactivate the main power supply for safety;
2) Detach the protective coupling shield;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Check and maintain motor installation plane flatness, ensuring it is devoid of any debris or unwanted materials;
5) Motor bolt holes should be larger than the bolts for easy adjustment and loosening;
6) Use stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor foot. Ensure gaskets are flat, free from attachments, and avoid using unsuitable gaskets for adjustment purposes;
7) Utilize a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with a precision of 0.01mm for accurate alignment, which must be provided by the customer;
8) Set up a dial indicator support bracket as depicted in the figure below for precise readings;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix the dial indicator at the wheel hub edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the motor foot adjustment bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. Aim for a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, and coupling end face deviation between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, and double-check the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 After achieving the desired 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, fasten the anchor bolts securely. Post-trial operation, recheck and retighten the bolts for ensured stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed component. Prevent any solid or liquid entry, as these can cause severe, irreversible damage to the compressor. Ensure the connected inlet and outlet pipelines comply with steam corrosion grade standards, rectifying any non-compliance.It is highly recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proper installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes is crucial. Adhere to PI diagram specifications for pipeline accessories. The pipelines should be independently supported to avoid undue stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its auxiliary components have been meticulously installed and the concrete base has fully solidified, the stage is set to conduct a seamless and efficient compressor operation test, ensuring reliability and peak performance.
3.3.8 Position the compressor's state-of-the-art electric control cabinet within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure a seamless connection by routing the wiring via an underground threading pipe. Once the cabinet is perfectly situated, effortlessly integrate the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring an impeccably connected and efficient system.
