MVR, short for mechanical vapor recompression, is a groundbreaking energy-saving technology that significantly cuts down the need for external energy by ingeniously reutilizing the secondary steam energy it generates. The core principle revolves around the secondary steam produced by the evaporator, which is compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process efficiently converts electrical energy into thermal energy, resulting in an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. The risen temperature sends the secondary steam back to the evaporator to heat the materials, generating further evaporation and effectively recycling the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam. This innovative process epitomizes the future of sustainable energy utilization.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor stands as a testament to advanced engineering, comprising a compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instrument, and an anti-surge control system. Its design emphasizes a compact structure, ensuring ease of maintenance and operation. This meticulously crafted system promises both reliability and efficiency, making it an indispensable asset in your energy-efficient arsenal.
3.3.1 To ensure optimal performance, the compressor base should be meticulously placed on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for precise leveling adjustments.
Arrange the wedge-shaped irons alternately; once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure each iron with spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points. These wedges are
crafted and positioned according to your unique setup needs, ensuring a smooth and even contact on inclined surfaces.
Remember, the bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Use a precision level to achieve perfect alignment. The required leveling specifications for the unit are: axial level at 0.05/1000mm, and horizontal
alignment at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Achieve perfect coupling alignment by ensuring the following prerequisites:
1) Disconnect the main power source to ensure safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with care;
3) Dismantle the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor's installation surface, ensuring it is free of obstructions, dirt, and undesirable attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are slightly larger than the bolts themselves to facilitate easy adjustments.
Use an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to properly support the motor. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare a stable bracket for the dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Use a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to place a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust the bolts around the motor feet to align the compressor and motor center lines, ensuring the maximum outer circle deviation is 0.05mm.
11) Finally, tighten the motor foot bolts securely, and re-evaluate the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling;
12) Conduct a motor idling test before reinstalling the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Securely tighten anchor bolts post-adjustment of both 'levelness' and alignment of the casing. After the mechanical trial, loosen and retighten for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical high-speed component. To prevent irreversible damage, ensure that the inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and meet the system's steam corrosion standards.Consider integrating solid-liquid separation equipment, like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines with relevant accessories per the PI diagram. Support connected pipelines with independent brackets, avoiding any load stress on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its ancillary equipment, has been flawlessly installed and the concrete has reached its full strength, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This essential step ensures that every component is perfectly aligned and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 For seamless integration and maximum efficiency, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. To ensure durability and safety, the wiring must be safely enclosed within a threading pipe and routed underground. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, establish a robust connection by linking the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS for a fully integrated operational setup.
