3.3.1 Begin by positioning the compressor base integrally on the prepared foundation. Carefully insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to ensure perfect unit leveling.
Alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons, achieving the desired level. Securely spot weld the irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to maintain stability. These wedges should be
crafted and fitted by the user, tailored to the specific conditions. Ensure that the contact surface is precisely finished, allowing even contact of the inclined
plane. The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed the limit of 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level tool to ascertain perfect leveling. The unit's leveling criteria are as follows: the axial level should be 0.05 per 1000mm, while the horizontal
level should be 0.10 per 1000mm, ensuring optimal performance.
3.3.3 Precision in coupling alignment is crucial. Prior to commencing alignment, confirm adherence to the following essential prerequisites:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Disassemble the coupling shield for access;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for inspection;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is clear of all debris, dirt, and attachments;
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are sufficiently large to allow bolt adjustments, facilitating motor alignment;
6) Prepare a sufficient quantity of stainless steel gaskets to fit under the motor feet. Ensure that these gaskets are clean, flat, and avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for precision adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, a critical tool provided by the customer;
8) Assemble the provided bracket to support the dial indicator as depicted in the subsequent illustration;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for affixing a dial indicator to the wheel hub's edge, positioning the probe accurately on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By adjusting the bolts surrounding the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines. The outer circle's maximum deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Ensure coupling end face measurement between 0.03 to 0.05mm;
11) Secure the motor's foot bolts, then meticulously verify the outer circle runout and the coupling end face runout for precision;
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operations or test runs, loosen and re-tighten these bolts to ensure secure installation.
3.3.5 The impeller is a critical, high-speed rotating element that must remain free from any solids or liquids. Such intrusions can cause irreparable harm to the compressor. Ensure all inlet and outlet pipelines maintain pristine cleanliness and adhere to the necessary steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be rectified. Installing solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, is recommended before the compressor inlet's straight pipe to prevent contamination.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Follow the PI diagram meticulously to install the requisite pipeline accessories. The pipelines attached to the compressor must be independently supported by an external bracket, preventing any weight-bearing on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and ancillary equipment are secure and the concrete has fully set, you may commence the compressor operation test to confirm all systems are functioning optimally.
