3.3.1 Begin by elegantly positioning the compressor base integrally on the foundation. Carefully place wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve an even level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, ensure the wedge-shaped irons are securely spot-welded at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The wedges should be crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the actual situation. Every contact surface must be finely finished for even contact of the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a level to confirm the unit is precisely balanced. The unit's axial level standard is 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level is 0.10/1000mm to ensure optimum operational efficiency.
Attention to these leveling details guarantees the compressor operates smoothly and reliably.
3.3.3 Achieve impeccable coupling alignment by ensuring the following prerequisites are met before you begin:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off to prioritize safety;
2) Detach the coupling shield with precision;
3) Carefully remove the diaphragm coupling intermediate section;
4) Inspect the motor installation plane to ensure its immaculate flatness, free from any foreign substances, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) The motor bolt hole should be slightly larger than the bolt itself, allowing for smooth adjustments by loosening the bolts when necessary;
6) Equip yourself with high-quality stainless steel gaskets that fit perfectly over the motor's foot. These gaskets must be flat without any attachments. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustment purposes;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with a precise accuracy of 0.01mm, to be provided by the customer;
8) Prepare a sturdy bracket as illustrated below to support the dial indicator;
9) Use the motor wheel hub mounting bracket for securing a dial indicator in place, with the probe situated on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub for accurate measurement;
10) By skillfully adjusting the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, ensure the compressor and motor center lines align seamlessly, following specific instructions. The maximum deviation should be no more than 0.05mm for outer circles and 0.03~0.05mm for coupling end faces.
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts and meticulously reviewing the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling.;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, proceed to install the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of casing 'levelness' and alignment, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Once the mechanical operation or trial is complete, loosen and retighten the bolts to ensure steadfast stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, requires utmost care as any solid or liquid intrusion can cause irreversible harm to the compressor. Ensure the interconnected inlet and outlet pipelines are immaculately clean and compliant with steam corrosion specifications. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must be rectified immediately.
3.3.6 Securely install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to PI diagram guidelines for the installation of related pipeline accessories. It's crucial that the pipeline attached to the compressor is supported by an independent bracket, preventing any weight burden on the compressor.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its accompanying equipment are installed and the concrete thoroughly solidified, you're ready to embark on a comprehensive compressor operation test to verify its performance.
