Installation Instructions

3.3.1 For the installation of the compressor base, place it integrally on the prepared foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to finely adjust the unit's level.
Arrange two wedge-shaped irons in an alternating pattern. Once the unit is precisely leveled, spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points to secure them. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific requirements of the site. Ensure the contact surfaces are finished for seamless contact, achieving even distribution on inclined
planes. The load-bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40 Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to ascertain the unit's level. Ensure the axial level of the unit is maintained at 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be 0.10/1000mm.
This precise leveling ensures optimal performance and longevity of the unit.

3.3.3 Align the coupling with precision. Before commencing alignment, ensure the following requirements are meticulously fulfilled:
1) Deactivate the main power supply to ensure safety.
2) Detach the coupling shield to gain access for alignment.
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section to facilitate adjustments.
4) Inspect and verify the flatness of the motor's installation surface, ensuring it is free from foreign objects, dirt, and unwanted attachments.
5) Ensure the motor's bolt holes are sufficiently larger than the bolts to allow for loosening and precise adjustment.
6) Have ample stainless steel gaskets ready to appropriately support the motor's feet. These gaskets must be clean, flat, and free of attachments. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Utilize a high-precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy (sourced by the customer).
8) Prepare the necessary support bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated in the figure below.

9) Employ a motor hub mounting bracket to secure the dial indicator onto the wheel hub's edge, ensuring the probe accurately contacts the compressor wheel hub's outer edge.
10) Carefully adjust the bolts surrounding the motor feet to align the compressor and motor's center lines. The maximum allowable deviation for the outer circle is 0.05mm. Ensure the motor shaft center line is slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line, with a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm.

11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts and recheck the coupling's outer circle and end face runout to confirm precision.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following the motor's idling test for final adjustments.
3.3.4 Post alignment and levelness adjustments, securely fasten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical operation or trial runs, release and retighten the bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, is susceptible to irreversible damage if solids or liquids enter. It is critical to ensure that all inlet and outlet pipelines are clean and compliant with the system's steam corrosion standards. Pipelines failing to meet these standards must be rectified. It is highly
recommended to install solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are fitted with the necessary accessories per the provided PI diagram. These pipelines should be independently supported by a separate bracket, avoiding any load on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its supportive equipment, has been meticulously installed and the concrete has fully solidified, it's the perfect time to proceed with the compressor operation test. This ensures everything is functioning at peak performance and reliability.
3.3.8 To ensure optimal efficiency and safety, the electric control cabinet for the compressor must be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. For seamless connectivity, the wiring should be directed through a threading pipe that runs underground, linking the compressor to the cabinet. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly situated, make sure to connect its wiring terminals harmoniously with the lines at the remote DCS, ensuring a smooth and efficient operational flow.
