3.3.1 To set the foundation for your Efficient Steam Compressor with Speed Regulation and Overall Base Design, begin by positioning the integrally designed base right onto the prepared surface. Use a wedge-shaped shim beneath the base to achieve optimum leveling.
Strategically place two wedge-shaped irons in alternating positions for enhanced stability. Once the unit is precisely leveled, perform spot welding at 4 to 5 distinct points to secure the wedges firmly. These wedges should be
created and installed by users, customized to fit the actual conditions of your setup. Ensure that the contact surface is finely finished for even contact on inclined planes, guaranteeing optimal performance.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a precision level to verify the unit's alignment. The axial level must be accurate to 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should not exceed 0.10/1000mm for flawless operation.
3.3.3 Centering of the coupling is critical. Ensure the following protocols are strictly adhered to before proceeding:
1) Completely disconnect the main power supply to eliminate any risks;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the coupling components;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling, preparing the system for precise alignment;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation area, ensuring absolute cleanliness and absence of foreign materials;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes are adequately sized to allow for adjustments; this requires bolts to be loosenable.
6) Stock up on stainless steel gaskets to sit beneath the motor; make sure these are free of contaminants and maintain a flat profile. Avoid using thin gaskets for adjustments between motor and base.
7) Utilize a dial indicator or a high-precision laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer must prepare independently;
8) Assemble the necessary support bracket for your dial indicator, as illustrated below;
9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor hub bracket; position its probe on the compressor wheel hub's peripheral edge for careful measurements;
10) Fine-tune the adjustment bolts around the motor feet, aligning the compressor and motor center lines. The outer circular deviation should not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line positioned slightly above the compressor's low-speed shaft center line.
11) Secure the motor foot bolts firmly and perform a thorough check on both the outer circle and end face runout of the coupling to ensure precise alignment;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to complete the setup.
3.3.4 Once the casing's levelness and alignment are set, tighten all anchor bolts securely. Post mechanical operation or trial run, loosen and re-tighten bolts to affirm enduring stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating part, demands utmost care to avoid damage. Solid or liquid ingress can lead to irreversible harm, thus maintaining a pristine inlet and outlet pipeline is crucial to meet system steam corrosion standards. Modify pipelines that fall short of specifications.To safeguard the equipment, consider installing solid-liquid separation components like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed with installing compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Align with the PI diagram to attach necessary accessories. Support the connecting pipelines with external brackets to avoid placing undue stress on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with all its accompanying equipment, is securely installed and the concrete has reached complete solidity, it's time to initiate the compressor operation test. This pivotal moment ensures that every piece of the setup is perfectly aligned and ready to showcase the exceptional performance of our Efficient Steam Compressor with Speed Regulation and Overall Base Design.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically placed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. This proximity allows for optimal connectivity and performance. The intricate wiring journey from the compressor to this control hub should be meticulously threaded through underground pipes, ensuring safety and efficiency. Upon positioning the electric control cabinet, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within it to the lines at the remote Distributed Control System (DCS), thus ensuring a flawless integration and control of the system.
