The core principle of MVR is the compression of secondary steam produced by the evaporator, utilizing a high-efficiency steam compressor to transform electrical energy into thermal energy. This process raises the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam, subsequently channeling it back to the evaporator. The reheated steam is then used to heat materials, inducing evaporation and thereby facilitating the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization of the secondary steam, achieving a remarkable cycle of energy conservation.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is an exceptional engineering feat, primarily consisting of a robust compressor body incorporating components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seals. It is coupled with a state-of-the-art motor and is equipped with advanced electric instruments. This meticulous design ensures optimal performance and reliability, making it a superior choice for efficient steam compression applications.
3.3.1 Begin by integrally placing the robust compressor base on the prepared foundation. Ensure a meticulous installation by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base, which are essential for the precise leveling of the unit.
Artfully alternate these wedge-shaped irons to achieve optimal stability. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure these irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points. Remember, these wedges must be custom-crafted and installed by the user, ensuring they fit the specific conditions at hand.
The contact surface of the wedges must be carefully finished for even contact across the inclined plane. Note that the wedge iron's bearing capacity should not exceed a robust 40Kg/cm.

3.3.2 Utilize a precision level to find the exact level of the unit. The leveling criteria are stringent: the axial level must maintain a precision of 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should adhere to 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Perfect coupling alignment is essential. Before you embark on this precise task, ensure these preparatory steps are complete:
1) Ensure safety by turning off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the coupling;
3) Precisely remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for alignment;
4) Thoroughly check the motor installation plane for any foreign objects, dirt, or attachments to ensure a clean surface;
5) The motor bolt hole should exceed the bolt size, allowing smooth loosening for motor adjustments;
6) Have a reservoir of stainless steel gaskets ready. These must impeccably cover the motor's foot, remaining free of attachments, and entirely flat. Avoid using elongated or thin gaskets for adjustments,
7) Equip yourself with a high-precision dial indicator or a laser alignment meter, boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, supplied by the customer;
8) Secure a sturdy bracket to support the dial indicator, as depicted in the schematic below;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to attach the dial indicator on the hub's edge, positioning the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) By deftly adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center line precisely, adhering to a maximum deviation of 0.05mm. The motor shaft center should always rise above the compressor's low-speed shaft center, with coupling end faces between 0.03~0.05mm;
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, then meticulously review both the outer circle and end face runouts of the coupling,;
12) After a successful motor idling test, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once adjustments for both 'levelness' and alignment are completed on the casing, diligently tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial operation, remember to loosen these bolts and retighten, ensuring long-term stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a critical high-speed rotating component, commands absolute protection from any solid or liquid ingress, which could cause irreversible damage. Maintain pristine inlet and outlet pipelines that meet the system's steam corrosion grade requirements to safeguard the compressor. For pipelines failing to meet these standards, renovation is a must. It's advisable to install a solid-liquid separation device, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Ensure all import and export pipelines incorporate relevant accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline connected to the compressor must be supported by an independent bracket, never relying on the compressor body's support.
3.3.7 Following the successful installation of the main fan and ancillary equipment, and once the concrete has completely solidified, it's time to conduct a thorough compressor operation test.
