The core principle involves the compression of secondary steam, which is produced by the evaporator, using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process seamlessly converts electrical energy into thermal energy, leading to an increase in both pressure and temperature of the secondary steam. This enhanced steam is then cycled back to the evaporator, heating the materials to induce evaporation, thereby achieving the recycling of latent heat from the vaporization of secondary steam. This sophisticated process not only optimizes energy use but also ensures sustainable operation.
The DM series Single-stage geared steam compressor is a marvel of engineering, consisting of the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, a state-of-the-art lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base should be integrally positioned on the foundation. Ensure precision by placing wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to adjust the unit level.
For optimal stability, alternate the placement of two wedge-shaped irons. After achieving the desired leveling, spot weld these irons at 4-5 strategic points to secure them. It is crucial that these wedges are
manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the specific circumstances of the setup. The contact surface of the wedge must be finished to ensure even contact across the inclined plane.
The bearing capacity of each wedge iron should not exceed a threshold of 40Kg/cm
2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precise level to ascertain the unit's alignment. The unit must adhere to strict leveling criteria: an axial level accuracy of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level accuracy of 0.10/1000mm.
Ensure these exacting standards are met for seamless operation.

3.3.3 Ensuring the coupling is meticulously centered is critical. Prior to commencing alignment, fulfill the following prerequisites:
1) Disconnect the main power supply to ensure safety;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Disassemble the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the flatness of the motor's installation plane, ensuring it is free from any debris, dirt, or extraneous materials;
5) The motor's bolt holes must be sufficiently larger than the bolts to allow adjustments by loosening the bolts;
6) Sufficient stainless steel gaskets must be prepared to support the motor's foot. These gaskets should be free of debris and completely flat. Avoid using long, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment device with an accuracy of 0.01mm (to be provided by the customer);
8) Prepare the necessary support bracket for the dial indicator as illustrated below;

9) The motor hub mounting bracket is essential for affixing a dial indicator to the edge of the wheel hub, positioning the indicator's probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) By adjusting the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to a baseline (or follow specific instructions). The deviation of the outer circle must not exceed 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. The coupling end face must be between 0.03~0.05mm;

11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts, reviewing the outer circle runout and the end face runout of the coupling;
12) After verifying alignment, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section following a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Post-adjustment of the casing's levelness and alignment, ensure the anchor bolts are tightly secured. After a mechanical operation or trial run, it is essential to loosen and retighten these bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, must remain free from any solid or liquid intrusions as they can inflict irreversible damage on the compressor. Guarantee that all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor adhere to the system's steam corrosion grade requirements, and if necessary, rectify any discrepancies.
It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the compressor inlet's straight pipe.
3.3.6 Proceed to install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure that import and export pipelines are fitted with pertinent pipeline accessories in accordance with the PI diagram. The pipeline affixed to the compressor should be well-supported by a separate bracket, ensuring that its weight does not burden the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment have been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation fully solidified, you're ready to embark on the exciting compressor operation test. This pivotal step ensures that everything is in perfect harmony and ready for optimal performance.
3.3.8 To ensure seamless functionality, the electric control cabinet of the compressor must be strategically installed within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The connection from the compressor to this control hub should be executed via threading pipe, thoughtfully routed underground for unobtrusive integration. Once the electric control cabinet is securely positioned, promptly connect its wiring terminals to the lines at the remote DCS for flawless operation.
