MVR, an acronym for Mechanical Vapor Recompression, is a cutting-edge energy-saving technology that dramatically reduces the dependence on external energy sources. At its core, the technology operates on a unique principle: the secondary steam, generated by the evaporator, is adeptly compressed using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This transformation process ingeniously converts electrical energy into thermal energy. Consequently, the pressure and temperature of the secondary steam are elevated. This cleverly enhanced steam is then reintroduced into the evaporator, where it efficiently heats the materials, instigating the evaporation process anew. The result? A brilliant recycling of the latent heat of vaporization from the secondary steam, achieving a remarkable energy efficiency and sustainability.
The DM series Single-stage Geared Steam Compressor is a marvel of engineering, comprised of several key components: the compressor body, coupling, gearbox, lubrication system, motor, electric instruments, and an advanced anti-surge control system. This masterfully designed system boasts a compact structure, ensuring that it is not only efficient but also incredibly easy to maintain.
3.3.1 The compressor base is integrally placed on the foundation. Gently position wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve perfect leveling of the unit.
Place two wedge-shaped irons alternately for ultimate stability. Once the unit is leveled, ensure to spot weld the wedge-shaped irons at 4 to 5 strategic points.
The wedge must be manufactured and installed by the user, tailored to the actual scenario for flawless fit. The contact surface should be impeccably finished to ensure even contact of the inclined plane.
The weight-bearing capacity of each wedge iron must not exceed 40Kg/cm2.
3.3.2 Employ a level to attain precision leveling. The stringent leveling requirements dictate that the axial level of the unit is 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level is 0.10/1000mm, ensuring peak performance.
3.3.3 Achieve impeccable coupling alignment. Prior to initiating alignment, confirm adherence to the following meticulous prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is turned off, prioritizing safety.
2) Remove the coupling shield with care to avoid any damage.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling intermediate section to facilitate smooth alignment.
4) Scrutinize the flatness of the motor installation plane, ensuring it's free from any foreign objects, dust, or unwanted attachments.
5) Ensure that the motor bolt hole is adequately larger than the bolt to allow loosening for precise motor adjustments.
6) Prepare an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets to cover the motor's foot. The gaskets must be pristine and flat, avoiding use of long, thin gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments.
7) Utilize a precision dial indicator or laser alignment meter with an accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer is required to prepare.
8) Prepare the supporting bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying figure for clear reference.
9) The motor wheel hub mounting bracket is utilized for securing a dial indicator along the wheel hub edge, placing the probe onto the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub.
10) By fine-tuning adjustment bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines to perfection, allowing a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle, while ensuring the motor shaft center line sits higher than the compressor low-speed shaft center line. Coupling end face deviation should remain within 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Conclude by tightening the motor foot bolts securely, and re-evaluate the outer circle runout and end face runout of the coupling for ensured accuracy.
12) Reinstall the coupling intermediate section post a successful motor idling test.
3.3.4 Following the meticulous adjustment of 'levelness' and alignment of the casing, tighten the anchor bolts firmly. After initial mechanical operation or trial, loosen and re-tighten bolts for optimal stability.
3.3.5 The impeller, being a high-speed rotating element, is delicate and susceptible to irreversible damage from solid or liquid intrusion. Thus, it is imperative to maintain cleanliness and meet the steam corrosion grade requirements of the system for all inlet and outlet pipelines connected to the compressor. Pipelines failing to meet these criteria must be rectified promptly.It is advisable to incorporate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees, ahead of the straight pipe at the compressor inlet for enhanced protection.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Import and export pipelines should be fitted with appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Another bracket must support the pipeline connected to the compressor, ensuring its weight is not borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its essential ancillary equipment are seamlessly installed and the concrete has reached its full solidification, you are ready to embark on the compressor operation test. This crucial step ensures that your Robust Steam Compressor with Split Base and Power Frequency Motor is performing optimally and ready for prime operation.
3.3.8 For optimal performance and safety, the electric control cabinet of the compressor should be positioned within a convenient 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensure a clean, efficient connection by threading the wiring through pipes that are routed underground. With the electric control cabinet securely in place, harmonize the system by meticulously connecting the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the lines at the remote DCS, thus ensuring seamless communication and control.
