Installation Instructions

3.3.1 The compressor base must be meticulously placed on the foundation. Insert wedge-shaped shims beneath the base to achieve a flawless unit level. These shims are essential for precision and stability.
Alternate two wedge-shaped irons for impeccable leveling. Secure them with spot welds at 4~5 strategic points, ensuring unparalleled stability. The wedges should be
custom-made and installed by the user, tailored to the unique conditions of the site. Ensure that the contact surface is perfectly finished, providing uniform contact of the inclined
plane with immense load-bearing capability, not exceeding 40Kg/cm².

3.3.2 Precisely determine the level using a high-accuracy level. The unit's leveling requirements are stringent: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and
a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm, ensuring the utmost precision and reliability.

3.3.3 Perfect Coupling Alignment: Before commencing alignment, confirm these critical prerequisites:
1) Ensure the main power supply is completely turned off to maintain safety;
2) Dismantle the coupling shield with care;
3) Remove the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section with precision;
4) Meticulously inspect the motor installation plane's flatness. Ensure it is devoid of debris, dirt, or any attachments;
5) The motor's bolt holes must be larger than the bolts themselves, allowing for seamless adjustment and alignment;
6) Adequately prepare stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet. Ensure they are impeccably clean and perfectly flat. Avoid using long or thin gaskets for fine adjustments;
7) Employ a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter with an impressive accuracy of 0.01mm, which the customer should provide;
8) Carefully prepare a bracket to support the dial indicator, following the illustration below;

9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to secure the dial indicator at the wheel hub's edge. Position the probe meticulously on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub;
10) Through precise adjustments of the bolts around the motor feet, align the compressor and motor center lines impeccably (as per corresponding instructions). Achieve a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm and maintain the motor shaft center line slightly higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center line. Ensure coupling end face alignment within 0.03~0.05mm;

11) After achieving perfect alignment, securely tighten the motor foot bolts. Reassess the coupling's outer circle runout and end face runout for superior alignment;;
12) Conclude the procedure by installing the coupling's intermediate section post motor idling test, ensuring seamless operation.
3.3.4 Post alignment, meticulously tighten the anchor bolts. Following mechanical or trial operations, repeat the tightening for enhanced stability and performance.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, demands a pristine environment. Any solid or liquid intrusion can inflict irreversible damage. Hence, ensure the inlet and outlet pipelines meet the system's stringent steam corrosion specifications. Rectify any discrepancies without delay.
Consider adding solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet's straight pipe for optimal efficiency.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. Attach appropriate pipeline accessories as per the PI diagram. Ensure the pipeline is supported independently, without burdening the compressor body, for flawless operation.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its supporting equipment have been successfully installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidity, the exciting phase of conducting the compressor operation test can commence, ensuring everything is primed for maximum efficiency.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet, an integral part of the compressor system, should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor. The connection between the compressor and the electric control cabinet should be seamlessly established using threading pipes laid underground. Once the cabinet is securely installed, ensure that the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet are expertly connected to the lines of the remote DCS, guaranteeing a robust and reliable operation.
