The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is a sophisticated piece of equipment, meticulously constructed for optimal performance. Its primary structure includes a comprehensive compressor body, which encompasses components such as the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal. Additionally, it is equipped with a coupling, motor, and electric instruments, all harmoniously integrated to ensure seamless operation and superior efficiency.
3.3.1 Gracefully position the compressor base on the foundation. Utilize wedge-shaped shims beneath to ensure precise leveling. These shims artfully support and stabilize your setup.
Alternately arrange two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit achieves perfect balance, firmly spot weld the irons in 4 to 5 strategic points for an unyielding hold.
Users are encouraged to customize the manufacture and installation of wedges based on specific conditions. Ensure smooth, even contact surfaces for optimal performance.
The wedge's bearing capacity is remarkably engineered, not exceeding 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Employ a level to achieve unparalleled precision. The unit's axial level should be an impeccable 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level boasts a flawless 0.10/1000mm.
Such meticulous leveling ensures an unwavering foundation for peak performance.
3.3.3 Achieve impeccable alignment with the coupling, ensuring that all preliminary conditions are thoroughly met:
1) Safely disengage the main power supply for secure handling.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to unveil the alignment area.
3) Extract the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section for comprehensive access.
4) Inspect the motor installation plane to verify the absence of contaminants, ensuring a pristine surface.
5) Ensure motor bolt holes offer ample clearance to facilitate effortless adjustments.
6) Arm yourself with a wealth of stainless steel gaskets. Achieve seamless contact and avoid using inadequate adjustments.
7) Select a precision instrument, be it a dial indicator or laser alignment meter with 0.01mm accuracy, tailored just for you.
8) Prepare a reliable bracket to support the dial indicator, as illustrated below.
9) Employ the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to deftly position a dial indicator probe on the compressor wheel hub's edge.
10) Adjust with finesse, aligning the center lines of the motor and compressor. Maintain an outer circle deviation of just 0.05mm, with the motor shaft center line slightly elevated.
11) Conclude by securely tightening the motor foot bolts, and assess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for ultimate precision;
12) Following a successful motor idling test, reassemble the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Perfectly tune the 'levelness' and alignment of the casing. Secure the anchor bolts firmly. After mechanical operation, loosen and retighten for unwavering stability.
3.3.5 Safeguard the high-speed rotating impeller from foreign intrusion. Ensure all connecting pipelines are pristine, meeting stringent steam corrosion standards. If necessary, install solid-liquid separation equipment for added protection.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install the compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Adhere to PI diagram specifications for all pipeline accessories. Independently support pipelines to avoid burdening the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, along with its associated equipment, has been meticulously installed and the concrete foundation has reached full solidification, the stage is set to commence the compressor operation test. This crucial phase ensures optimal performance and reliability.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. Ensuring seamless connectivity, the wiring should be expertly routed through underground threading pipe. Once the electric control cabinet is precisely placed, it is essential to skillfully connect the wiring terminals in the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, facilitating effective communication and control.
