3.3.1 Begin by seamlessly placing the compressor's integrally designed base onto the foundation, ensuring its stability by positioning wedge-shaped shims beneath it. These shims are pivotal in achieving a perfectly level unit.
Skillfully alternate between two wedge-shaped irons. Once the unit is level, secure the wedges with spot welding at 4 to 5 strategic points, ensuring a firm base. It's essential that these wedges are
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific context. Ensure the contact surface is meticulously finished for smooth engagement of the inclined plane. The wedge iron must withstand a
bearing capacity not exceeding 40Kg/cm squared.2.
3.3.2 Use a precision level to accurately assess the unit's levelness, adhering to the highest standards. The axial level of the unit must be precisely 0.05/1000mm, while the horizontal level should be maintained at 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Meticulously center the coupling with precision alignment. Before commencing, confirm the following critical prerequisites:
1) Ensure safety by shutting off the main power supply;
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Thoroughly inspect the motor installation plane for cleanliness, ensuring an absence of foreign substances, dirt, or unwanted attachments;
5) Verify that the motor bolt hole is sufficiently larger than the bolt size to allow for easy loosening and motor adjustment;
6) Have a collection of stainless steel gaskets ready to fully support the motor's feet. These gaskets must be free of attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using elongated, thin gaskets for adjustments between the motor and base;
7) Equip yourself with a dial indicator or a laser alignment meter boasting an accuracy of 0.01mm, which is to be procured by the customer;
8) Prepare a supporting bracket for the dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize the motor wheel hub mounting bracket to affix a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, with its probe resting on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Achieve near-perfect alignment by adjusting bolts around the motor feet so that the compressor and motor center lines are co-linear, adhering to specific guidelines. Ensure a maximum deviation of 0.05mm for the outer circle, and a coupling end face deviation of 0.03~0.05mm. Notably, the motor shaft's center line should be slightly elevated compared to the compressor's low-speed shaft center line;
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then reassess the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for consistency.;
12) Post motor idling tests, reinstall the coupling's intermediate section to finalize the setup.
3.3.4 Following the precise adjustments of levelness and alignment, ensure all anchor bolts are tightened. After initial mechanical operations or trial runs, it’s essential to loosen and retighten these bolts to confirm secure installation.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed rotating component, is vulnerable to solid or liquid intrusion, risking irreversible damage to the compressor. Thus, maintaining clean inlet and outlet pipelines in adherence to the system's steam corrosion grade is paramount. Non-compliant pipelines necessitate immediate rectification. It is stronglyrecommended to integrate solid-liquid separation equipment, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, preceding the straight pipe at the compressor's inlet.
3.3.6 Proceed with the installation of compressor inlet and outlet pipes. Ensure the import and export pipelines are equipped with appropriate accessories as per the PI diagram. The pipeline linking to the compressor should rest on an independent support bracket, avoiding any weight burden on the compressor body itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan and its ancillary equipment are meticulously installed, and the concrete has reached full solidity, you can proceed with the highly anticipated compressor operation test.
3.3.8 The electric control cabinet for the compressor should be strategically positioned within a 5-meter radius of the compressor itself. The intricate wiring from the compressor to the electric control cabinet should be elegantly threaded through pipes that run underground. After the cabinet is securely in place, ensure that the wiring terminals within the electric control cabinet are seamlessly connected with the lines at the remote DCS, facilitating optimal performance.
