3.3.1 Begin by gracefully resting the compressor base directly upon its foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath the base for fine-tuning the unit's level.
Strategically place two wedges alternately. Once the unit achieves perfect leveling, gently secure the wedges with spot welds at 4-5 strategic points. These wedges should be
crafted and installed by the user, tailored to the specific setup. Ensure the contact surfaces are meticulously finished for uniform engagement and proper support.
The load-bearing capacity of these wedges should not exceed 40 Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Utilize a precision level tool to ensure exact leveling. The unit must meet stringent leveling standards: 0.05/1000mm axially, and
0.10/1000mm horizontally, ensuring flawless operational stability.
3.3.3 Achieve coupling centering with precision. Prior to alignment, verify the following steps are completed:
1) Disengage the main power source for safety.
2) Carefully remove the coupling shield to access the components.
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section thoughtfully.
4) Inspect the motor's installation surface, ensuring no debris, dirt, or extraneous materials are present.
5) Ensure the motor bolt holes are sufficiently large for bolt adjustments, facilitating precise motor positioning.
6) Have an ample supply of stainless steel gaskets ready; they should be free of attachments and perfectly flat. Avoid using long and thin gaskets for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or laser alignment tool with a precision of 0.01mm, sourced by the customer.
8) Prepare an appropriate bracket to support your dial indicator, as depicted in the accompanying diagram.
9) Mount the dial indicator on the motor wheel hub bracket, aligning the probe on the outer edge of the compressor wheel hub.
10) Align the motor and compressor center lines using adjustment bolts, maintaining a maximum outer circle deviation of 0.05mm, and ensure the motor shaft center is higher than the compressor's low-speed shaft center.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then recheck the coupling's outer circle and end face runout for precision.;
12) Reinstall the coupling's intermediate section once the motor has successfully idled.
3.3.4 Upon achieving optimal 'levelness' and alignment, firmly secure the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation, loosen and re-tighten these bolts to maintain integrity.
3.3.5 The impeller, a high-speed marvel, must remain free from solid or liquid intrusion to prevent irreversible damage. Ensure that the compressor's inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and adhere to the system's steam corrosion standards. Consider incorporating solid-liquid separation devices, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, ahead of the compressor inlet's straight pipe for added protection.
3.3.6 Install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes with precision. Adhere to the PI diagram for requisite pipeline accessories. Support the connected pipeline independently, ensuring no undue weight is borne by the compressor body.
3.3.7 Upon securing the main fan and auxiliary equipment, and once the concrete has fully cured, proceed with the compressor operation test.
