3.3.1 To achieve seamless integration, place the compressor base onto the foundation, using wedge-shaped shims to meticulously adjust the unit level.
Position two wedge-shaped irons alternately; once the unit is perfectly leveled, skillfully spot weld the wedges at 4 to 5 strategic points. This ensures unparalleled stability.
Craft and install the wedges based on your unique environment, ensuring an impeccably finished contact surface for flawless and even engagement.
The bearing capacity must not surpass 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve absolute precision with a level. The unit must meet stringent leveling criteria: an axial precision of 0.05/1000mm and horizontal alignment of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Coupling Alignment: Ensure seamless connectivity by adhering to these crucial pre-alignment steps:
1) Safely turn off the main power, ensuring a secure environment;
2) Remove the protective coupling shield;
3) Detach the intermediate section of the diaphragm coupling;
4) Verify the motor's installation plane is pristine, free from any debris or contaminants;
5) Ensure motor bolt holes exceed bolt size, allowing for easy adjustments and secure motor positioning;
6) Arm yourself with an adequate supply of stainless steel gaskets to support the motor's feet firmly, ensuring each gasket is spotless and flawlessly flat.
7) Use precision tools such as a dial indicator or a high-accuracy laser alignment meter (0.01mm accuracy), which you should provide;
8) Ready your bracket for dial indicator support, as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Attach the motor hub mounting bracket for dial indicator placement, ensuring precise positioning of the probe on the compressor hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust motor feet bolts meticulously, aligning the compressor and motor center lines with precision, allowing a maximum deviation of 0.05mm in the outer circle.
11) Securely tighten motor foot bolts, re-evaluate the outer circle and end face runout, perfecting alignment.
12) After conducting a motor idling test, reinstall the coupling intermediate section for optimal performance.
3.3.4 Once the casing is impeccably aligned and level, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post-operation, retighten the bolts to reinforce stability.
3.3.5 Protect your compressor's high-speed impeller—the lifeblood of your operation—by ensuring no solid or liquid contaminants enter. Inlet and outlet pipelines must meet stringent steam corrosion system requirements or face necessary rectification.Enhance your system with solid-liquid separation technology, such as a gas scrubber or sedimentation tee, before the compressor inlet for unmatched performance.
3.3.6 Seamlessly install compressor inlet and outlet pipes, complete with relevant pipeline accessories per the PI diagram. Support pipelines independently to maintain the compressor's structural integrity, avoiding undue strain on the compressor body.
3.3.7 Once the main fan along with its auxiliary equipment is meticulously installed and the concrete base has fully set and hardened, it's time to bring the system to life! You can then proceed with the exhilarating task of conducting the compressor operation test, ensuring everything operates flawlessly.
3.3.8 The strategic placement of the compressor's electric control cabinet is crucial; it should be installed within an optimal 5 meters of the compressor. For superior connectivity, ensure the wiring between the compressor and the cabinet is expertly routed through a threading pipe, ideally laying it underground for added protection and aesthetics. Once the electric control cabinet is perfectly positioned, seamlessly connect the wiring terminals within the cabinet to the remote DCS lines, ensuring a smooth and efficient integration.
