At its core, the MVR operates on the principle of taking the secondary steam generated by the evaporator and subjecting it to compression using a high-efficiency steam compressor. This process ingeniously transforms electrical energy into thermal energy. As a result, the secondary steam experiences an increase in both pressure and temperature, effectively transforming it into thermal energy. The elevated temperature and pressure levels allow the secondary steam to return to the evaporator, where it serves the dual purpose of heating materials and inducing evaporation. This sophisticated cycle facilitates the recycling of the latent heat of vaporization present in the secondary steam, significantly enhancing energy efficiency.
The DML series low temperature rise steam compressor is an engineering marvel, crafted with precision and composed of several integral components. At its heart lies the compressor body, which encompasses the volute, impeller, main shaft, bearing housing, and seal, among other crucial elements. Complementing this is the coupling, motor, and electric instrument, all playing vital roles in its operation. Together, these components harmonize to form a powerhouse of efficiency and reliability, designed to deliver exceptional performance while minimizing temperature rise, making it an indispensable asset for industrial applications.
3.3.1 Gracefully place the compressor's integral base onto its foundation. Introduce wedge-shaped shims beneath this base to achieve precise leveling of the unit.
Interleave two wedge-shaped irons alternately. Once the unit is perfectly leveled, secure these irons with spot welds at 4 to 5 strategic points.
Craft and install the wedge as dictated by your specific requirements, ensuring that the contact surface is finely finished for even distribution on the inclined plane.
The wedge iron's load capacity must not exceed 40Kg/cm2).
3.3.2 Achieve flawless leveling using a precision level. The unit must adhere to the following leveling criteria: an axial level of 0.05/1000mm and a horizontal level of 0.10/1000mm.
3.3.3 Ensure perfect alignment of the coupling by confirming the following prerequisites before initiating adjustments:
1) Securely disconnect the main power supply;
2) Safely remove the coupling shield;
3) Detach the diaphragm coupling's intermediate section;
4) Verify the motor installation plane's flatness, ensuring it is clear of debris, dirt, or attachments;
5) Motor bolt holes should accommodate bolts with ease, allowing loosening for motor adjustment;
6) Prepare ample, pristine stainless steel gaskets to support the motor feet. Avoid using elongated or slender gaskets between the motor and base for adjustments.
7) Employ a dial indicator or a customer-supplied laser alignment meter with 0.01mm precision;
8) Set up a supporting bracket for the dial indicator as depicted in the accompanying diagram;
9) Utilize a motor wheel hub mounting bracket to position a dial indicator on the wheel hub's edge, placing the probe on the compressor wheel hub's outer edge;
10) Adjust motor feet bolts to align the compressor and motor center lines. The maximum outer circle deviation should be 0.05mm, ensuring the motor shaft center line is above the compressor's low-speed shaft, with coupling end face deviations of 0.03~0.05mm.
11) Securely tighten the motor foot bolts, then double-check the coupling's outer circle and end face runouts.;
12) After the motor idling test, carefully reinstall the coupling's intermediate section.
3.3.4 Once the casing's 'levelness' and alignment are perfected, firmly tighten the anchor bolts. Post mechanical operation or trial, loosen and retighten these bolts to ensure stability.
3.3.5 As the impeller spins at high speed, any intrusion of solids or liquids can cause irreversible harm to the compressor. Ensure inlet and outlet pipelines are pristine and comply with the system's steam corrosion standards. Non-compliant pipelines must be corrected, potentially with solid-liquid separation devices like gas scrubbers or sedimentation tees before the compressor inlet.
3.3.6 Carefully install the compressor's inlet and outlet pipes. According to PI diagrams, incorporate appropriate pipeline accessories. The pipeline linked to the compressor must be supported independently, without bearing any weight on the compressor itself.
3.3.7 Once the main fan, added equipment, and the concrete base are fully set, commence the essential compressor operation test to ensure optimal performance.
